Penguinne let out an anguished sigh as she slammed the door behind her. She had never been so insulted in her life.

“This is what, the third time I’ve tried to PQ?” she asked herself, cursing at her last party’s leader in her mind.

It had been a relatively joyous day, so Penguinne had decided to try out the Ludibrium Party Quest and see what it had to offer. As often as she had tried to get into the PQ before, she had never had the luck of actually getting into one… And staying in past the first stage. After an hour of searching, Penguinne had finally been invited into a party. Relieved and happy to finally have a chance to PQ, Penguinne had been ecstatic when her party had gotten into the Party Quest.

Her happiness was very short-lived.

Two minutes into the quest, the leader had expelled her – without warning and without reason. At first, Penguinne had passed it off as some sort of joke – but as the party was brought back to the 101th floor of EoS tower, she reluctantly saw the whole party which she had just been a part of disappear.

‘What was the point of that?’ she wondered gloomily. ‘Why did they even bother to PQ with me, when they were just going to kick me, grab someone else and rush back in after? Why didn’t they just wait for that other person?’

Penguinne sighed and got back to her feet. She had a new desire – not only to PQ, but to stop Viet Johnee from rushing in a third time. She would be damned if she let him PQ three times in a row – twice actually, not counting the time she had been a part of his so-called party.

Sighing, Penguinne reached for the handle of the door that lead to the 101st floor of the EoS tower. She had had nothing but bad luck until that moment with Ludibrium PQs – leaders disconnecting, people going away from their computers and not coming back, Penguinne had seen it all.

She decided that it was time for her luck to change.
