~ Fifth Stage – Dark and Light ~
It was finally Saturday. Well I would of been exicited last week, but
sadly…no. I have to steal the Forest Spirit from the ancient village
Sleepywood. Maybe I was just hiding my true feelings though. After
the first time stealing, I realize It’s actually kinda fun, even though
it’s wrong….but hey like my mom said, there’s a reason why we steal them.

Sky: You ready?
Me: I was ready years ago.
Sky: If you were, why weren’t you ready to confess to Rika? :]
Me: …I didn’t like her back then…
Sky: Yeah right!!!
Me: Just shut up… >.
Sky: Did I hurt your feelings? ;]
Me: You already know I like her okay so stop talking about her!!
Sky: You’re no fun. :p
Me: Then leave me alone, wait let me guess; “sadly, you can’t.”
Sky: ……………..

My mom went over to her friend’s house while my dad had
to work, so I had to get the Forest Spirit before they come back
before….mom cuts me with a butcher…….

Sky: Stop thinking about that! She just wanted to scare ya.
Me: Maybe…Maybe not…shudders*
Sky: Thh…you watch too much tv. Anyway, I finally get
some action. I’m going to take control of your body now,
so get ready.
Me: Yeah

Sky went inside my body. I wasn’t scared this time, so I could
feel how It felt. It was like a cool breeze was entering my body
and then I feel a warm breeze when I depart from my body.
“Time for some wings.” Sky took a deep breath and then his
body flashed black. Black feathers surrounding him and lunged
at his back. He was probaly used to it, so he didn’t feel much pain,
but I still took half of the pain. Then the dark wings came.

Me: I was so freaked about the wings, now It’s so awesome!
Sky: Heh, you’re not screaming this time, so you actually felt
some of the pain and the breeze.
Me: Oh, that’s why I felt some pain just now.
Sky: Yeah, the baby ain’t crying this time. Now let’s go!
Me: I’m no baby! X_X

We once again took off into the midnight darkness. It felt so
cool. Sleepywood was supposed to be a legend, but the Asuki
Family knows It’s still here, buried in lots of rocks at
the edge of town.After some flying, we reached the edge of town.

Me: How are we going to destroy those rocks? I didn’t bring explosives.
Sky: That would make too much noise anyway, we’ll use magic. Magic
is powerful, but doesn’t much sound either.
Me: Wind Blade again?
Sky: I thought we agreed to change the name. It’s not really a
blade anyway.
Me: What about Hurricane?
Sky: Yeah that’s good, but we won’t be using “hurricane” this time?
Me: What will we be using then?
Sky: A cool move. Fire Cannon
Me: So how do we do it?
Sky: This is going to tire you out a lot cause you’re not used to it just
to let you know. Put out both of your palms at the rock and say
the word “Fire Cannon”.
Me: Wait, so do I have to say Wind Blade when I want to use hurricane.
Sky: Nah, you can say anything. You just have to think about it while saying
a word.
Me: O…k.

Sky ran out of energy after the long flight to the edge of the town and
let me try it. I held out both of my palms facing the rock. After a moment’s
silence, I said “Fire Cannon!” To my suprise, my hands glowed red and
a blast of fire came out of my hands! It destoryed the giant rocks and
I saw an entrance to a big cave leading to Sleepywood.

Me: AHH MY HAND IS BURNING!!!!!!!
Sky: Magic doesn’t ever hurt the user. Remember that you scaredy cat!
Me: Dang It, shut up Sky!
Sky: I’m going to. Besides, it’s your turn now.

I went inside the tunnel. There was obviously no guards, so Sky whined
about how easy this misson was going to be. Even my endurance got better
when having the spirit around with me. I wasn’t tired after I just shot
the fire cannon. At the time I felt a large amount of energy in my body
surging through my body and making it’s way on my hands. After a while
walking, I got bored too. There was no guards, no traps, no nothing!
I agreed with Sky. What’s the point of stealing something no one knows about?

I was wrong about saying no one knowing. As I walked some more, I realized
I walked into a trap. There were spikes on the walls. They were moving. Closing
in one me! “You dumbass! Run!! yelled Sky. “I know you obvious floating head!!”
The walls were moving really fast I would of been killed if my foot speed was
what It was like before Sky came. The passageway was getting thin. It was a LONG
hallway too. I felt like I was about to trip. One mistake and I’m dead meat.

Sky: Okay, I’ve recovered. I’m going to change back!
Me: Don’t tell me! GO RIGHT AHEAD!

Sky nodded and entered my body as fast as his spiritual body could allow him.
I was floating right above his head, wondering what would he do that I couldn’t
of thought of. He murmured to himself and then yelled “Gravity!” Suddenly the
walls were pushed back all the way back to their original state.

Me: Cool! But why did you have to murmur to yourself?
Sky: Well some strong magic techniques require me to say some incantations.

I was about to ask him something else, but I felt an intense pain. This must
of been the aftermath of using that spell. I was paraylized. I couldn’t speak.

Sky: Uh…my body is feeling heavy too. That was a very strong spell, so
It took a lot out of us. So I’m sorry.

I would of yelled at his face, but I was in so much pain, I just acted
stupid and nodded. After a couple more steps, we arrived at Sleepywood.
It was just ruins now. Everything was destroyed and there was no one
alive in here. It felt cold and uncomfortable here. Even as a ghost, I felt
the cold presence.

Sky: I hate it here too, so let’s get the Forest Spirit and scram.

Sky then took an immediete stop. I understood why. I felt a warm feeling.
There was someone in here! Sky told me to calm down cause he was in my
body anyway. The person came right at us. I couldn’t see his face. The
darkness blocked it.

Person: You must be the thief who stole the Angel’s Tear.
Sky: Hmm, and you must be?
Person: Hmm who am I? There’s no need for you to know.

As he came in closer, my spiritual body froze. I couldn’t believe
my eyes. That person. Was none under than Takeshi! My
best friend? What was Takeshi doing here? Sky was shocked too.
He knew he was my friend too. Takeshi sounded more mature
than at school. I could barely recongonize him. He was holding
the Forest Spirit too. It was an emerald embewed with strange
markings. It was shaped like a leaf.

Takeshi: I know you’re looking for this, and you’re not going to take it.
Sky: Why not?
Takeshi: Heh, you can’t fool me. I know who you are. There’s no need
to hide your idenity, Saki!!

How did Takeshi know my idenity?! I never seen Sky act this way.
He was thinking about the same thing I was. I didn’t say anything.

Takeshi: I couldn’t cause a fuss at school though, but there’s no
one watching.

Takeshi then took a deep breath and then smiled.

Takeshi: I got Rika with me. If you try to take the forest spirit
from me, you’ll never see her again.
Sky: What did you do with her?!
Takeshi: Nothing. But something will happen if you try to take this
from me.
Me: What do we do Sky?!
Sky: We have to get the forest spirit. In the wrong hands, this
spirit is dangerous.
Me: I still can’t believe that I’m…I mean we’re standing right
next to Takeshi.
Sky: Anyway, he’s just threatning us. He won’t do anything
to Rika. I’m just gonna grab the spirit.
Me: But what if he’s not lying?!
Sky: You’re going to have to take the chance.

Before I could reply Sky back, he lunged at Takeshi, attempting
to grab the forest spirit from him. He stopped halfway when
suddenly, Takeshi screamed.

Takeshi: Don’t come out….no….damn you!

Suddenly Takeshi was surrounded by feathers. White feathers.
The feathers lunged at his back and…he grew wings. White wings.

Me: What the hell?!!
Sky: He’s finally here.
Me: Who’s here??!
Sky: I’ll explain later.

Takeshi looked diffrent. His eyes changed. So did his figure and
his face. He looked like, an angel. The angel smiled, and lunged
at me and Sky. At the worst time ever, Sky ran out of energy
and I went inside back in my body and I took the hit. Sky took
half of it, but It hurt more for me since I wasn’t a spirit anymore.
He didn’t speak to us, but he murmured some words. “Judgement!”

A circle appeared on the ground surrounding my body. Then
a flash of white feathers surrounded me. On top of my head,
a giant hammer was aimed at me. Ready to strike.

Takeshi: So sorry our first meeting in 2,000 years
will be your last.

That wasn’t Takeshi’s voice. It was someone elses. I could feel it.
Was there…a spirit in Takeshi too? Getting to the topic at hand,
I was literally screwed. A huge hammer is going to hit me in the
head and white feathers are hurling around me to prevent
me from escaping.

Sky: We could get out of this situation, if I didn’t run out
of energy or If you were more experienced. So…sadly…
we might end up dying right now…
Me: So there’s really nothing we can do?
Takeshi: Get out of my…body!!!

In a quick flash, the white wings dissapeared and the
thing turned back into Takeshi. He fainted. The hammer
and the feathers around me dissapeared too. We were
really lucky that time. I checked to see if Takeshi was
all right. He was still breathing. Sky told me to take Takeshi
with us and fly over to his house and put him on his bed.
I was still exhausted after using the gravity attack, but I still
had enough strength to carry Takeshi.

When I was about to fly away, I forgot about Rika! It
might take me over 5 hours to find her. The place was so big.
I heard Sky murmur some words and then after a few seconds
he replied me: “I’ve located Rika”. I didn’t quite understand how
he did that but I’ve seen many strange things. There was almost
nothing that could freak me out now. I followed Sky’s direction and
I found Rika at last.

She wasn’t dead, just unconscious like Takeshi. Too admit, I kinda
blushed. She looked really beautiful when she was sleeping.

Sky: Hey, you want to kiss her?
Me: WHAT??!! My face was beet red when I heard that.
Sky: No I’m serious. You really “do” need to kiss her.
Me: What?! Why?
Sky: You know I kissed Rika that time? I just kind of needed too right?
It’s hard to explain. I can tell you one thing though. My genes got mixed
with yours. So you have to kiss the girl you like too. If you don’t soon,
something might happen to you.
Me: ……Like what?
Sky: It’s hard to explain, -_-
Me: You tend to say that a lot don’t you?
Sky: Yup. :]
Sky: Just do it. I’m not kidding you. You just have to do it.
Me: Just tell me why.
Sky: You want to do it anyway! You won’t get another
chance like this. She wouldn’t even know!
Me: Yeah but she probaly doesn’t even like me. It’s bad enough
you kissed her in my body. Now I have to do it?
Sky: Just do It…

Sky would never stop bugging me. No matter how many times I told
him “No”. So after a while, I finally decided to do it. I looked at Rika.
I forced myself to remember that she’ll never know and It will
only last 3 seconds. Then I’ll just take Takeshi and her back to
their house, on their bed and go home and sleep myself. I crouched
down and I tried to kiss her. Before I could though, Rika woke up.

Rika: Is that you…Saki? Hey…what are you trying to do?!!

I blushed really bad. She looked at me the whole time and I didn’t know
what to do. So I did a really stupid thing. I punched her and knocked her
out unconcious once again.

Sky: Why the heck did you just punch her?
Me: It wasn’t a life threatining punch. I don’t want her to know
that was me. Let her think It was a dream when we drop her off by her bed.
That goes for Takeshi too.
Sky: Fine, but sooner or later, you’re going to have to kiss her.

Sky took over my body once again and flew to Takeshi and Rika’s house.
Being silent and careful not to wake anyone up. I didn’t want to kiss
Rika. Maybe when I’m older, but not now. “Let’s go home Sky.” And yet
once again, we flew outside to the midnight sky, heading for home.

If some of you watched D.N Angel, I know. I get lots of ideas from
it, but I’m making stuff up too. Just mostly the main idea from
D.N Angel. The magic and other stuff Is mostly made up. Hoped people liked it. :]
