Genesis of Shadows-Part 3

I sat there, sprawled on the floor, as numerous people at a time got knocked off the boat into the abyss. The leading demon Flew straight towards the mast, and topled it over with a quick hit with his shoulder, sloing down slightly, but quickly recoving with a beat of his bat-like wings. I remembered the dagger that my father had gifted me when I was young, after the first time I went hunting with him, wich was located in my breifcase. Maybe if I could reach it, I could help out.

At this point in time, as I scurried, still sprawled on the floor, towards the last known area of my breifcase, I noticed that a small milita, eqiuped with shortspears, stood toe to toe with one of the beasts. At last, through the crowd, I caught a glance of my breifcase, a dark green, knocked over on the floor, emptying its contents. I got on my knees and started running, motivated by the discovery that my breifcase wasn’t toppeled over the edge, and that I had a chance of showing some potential, but, I nearly fell over again as my foot swept back, getting no grip on the wooden floor.

I quickly recovered, pushing my way through the flood of crowds towards my destination and finally, after what seemed like an energy consuming task, I searched my case. I put the dagger, in its jeweled sheath,in the side pocket of the case. That side, was facing the ground so I quickly grabed what I could, securing it with my arms and fliped the breifcase. I reached inside and felt a hard leather object. My dagger!, I grabed it out, and quickly unbottoned it and unsheathed my dagger.

It shone in the light, being a bright golden-yellow, stained in previous blood, but not dirty or recent. I looked over towards the beast as it bellowed into the air, calling to the gods themselves, spreading its wings and grasping its palms as a dark cloud quickly formed above the ship. Blakc lightning crackled and boomed down towards the milita, whom now were near death as it was. They looked up, attempted to sheild themselves from the blast with their arms but doing no good, the elecricity surged through them, charing their bones and snaping muscles.

The guards fell the their knees, then to the floor, creating nothing but a low thump as they hit the ground, the light leaving their eyes, becoming nothing but corpses. The monster lowered its wings, apreciated its work and looked in my direction, a snarl on its face, teeth protruding. It was just me and him. My heart stoped.
My muscles stoped. There was nobody to help me…

I was more alone then ever…

~~~ Relation: Seeing higher level people then you being slaughtered by Barlogs isnt the funnest thing in the world, as written by me, in great detail of course. ~~~
  1. You are really good at writing. The only thing that killed it for me was the title! You misspelled “Genesis!” >.<
