So like, to preserve a certain insanity, I reneged on that devil’s contract that I signed when I bought that 2x EXP card and fled from scary old FoG and crazy new Showa Parking Lot to the far far away psychedelic nightmare that we know as Ludibrium at level 79, 70%.

For scenic purposes, I even took the long route there, going ooout to Cloud Park the Last Map, then baaack to Orbis again, then dooown Orbis Tower manually with a side trip to that OPQ place which I have never been before, stopping at the tenth floor to say “Hi!” to Huckle and do his quest, then plunging into the blue waters of Aquarium to swimaaalltheway to The Sharp Unknown before going up that stinky well they call a pond, then waitingforeeever for the elevator to come, killing a few Retz along the way with my now new and improved Arrow Rain, then popping out FINALLY at *dundundundun* Lego Torture Parlor, Ludibrium.

Tomi (aka Xx3vil5inxX) joined me in Ludibrium, and we went to explore together. The last time I went to Ludi was ages ago, and I vowed never to come back until I could pwn the monsters in that Eos Tower properly. The last time I did Marcel’s quest, all I got was a BW scroll, the last straw in that godforsaken place that drove me back to nice ol’ Nath.

But hey, Silvah’s back, and badder than evar. >D

Rombot pwnt. The last time I tried to kill it, there was none to be found on any channel.

Now, however, after I killed the single one needed for the quest, I went on to channel hop, and murdered every single Rombot on every single channel, from one to twenty. *cackle*

Did you know that when Block Golems and Rombots die, they make a very nice crunchy sound? 8D

Oh, and I finally got a GFA. From Marcel, of all people.

There was this ‘Protect Ludibrium’ and ‘Free Spirit’ quests that had to be done, and so together with Tomi, I went to Not-So-Deep Ludi to hunt down Death Teddies.
They are so… macabre-ly cute. *hugs the Zombie Teddy in inventory*

Then Anni came to visit, and since she famed me the last time, I proceeded to return the favour.

*emerges bruised and battered* Ow.

So after I was done with that quest, I was at glorious 99%. I actually wanted to go level up on a snail or something, and Anni suggested that she Doom’d a Thanathos for me. I wish I took her up on that offer though. :/

I ended up leveling to level eighty(!) on those ghost thingoes. What’s their name, Chronos? Yeah. XD

You could tell that it was a really exciting affair, yep.

Anni missed my level up (again), and hooray, Mummy, it’s Spam for dinner again. >.>;

[Ooh, right now, in real time, I’m patching up the SEA client for the Singapore exclusive map. I can’t wait to get the Singapore flag. It’s so huge, and even Munky says it’s hardcore. >D >D
What I don’t understand is that why can’t Asiasoft/Wizet just say that they’ll take up to say, five hours to patch, instead of announcing a two hour patch then extending and extending and extending it? How stupid is it to let people hope, then keep disappointing them?

Of course, since I hit the grand Eighty, the sought-after target of my leveling spree, the pinnacle of my Maple Successes (save for the time when I actually managed to find out that you could drag Potions onto hotkeys ), it was TIME TO DIE. 8D

一 – Sadly, this wasn’t actually intentional. I kinda lagged out, logged back in, lagged a long while again, and uh. Yeah.

二- It was back to Ludi, and for more questing. Sweet Tomi gave me my level 80 Metal Heart Earrings (<3), and accompanied me to explore the Aqua Dungeons, where I promptly touched a FatArse Shark and it OHKO-ed me. I wasn’t the only one to die though. <3~ Here’s me trying to insult Mr Murderer Shark.

三- Well, the silly ‘Protect Ludibrium’ quest had to be done…
After a random Gunboss run in Showa in which I tried to kill Mr Gunboss using Arrow Rain and other means (I gave up less than halfway through, it was taking too long -_-), I met James aka DreamsxJames. Despite his attempts to cook my Bakwa, he’s a pretty nice guy, and helped me with the Ludi quest. But alas, alack, even the bravest soldiers do fall…

四 – … And fall again…

五- …And again. James used his girlfriend’s Priest to help me, but in the end it still wasn’t quite enough. He was all like, ‘I better not die, or else my gf will kill me.’ But in the end, the flesh was pretty much too weak. -_-

六- Eona was about to level up to lvl 119, and the guild decided to have an impromptu Gunboss hunt/ Showa Hideout run. It was awesome, and everyone even took turns to try to solo the Gunboss.

Love the guild ^^ This SS took a bleeding long time to take though, because people kept afking randomly, and there was even one point in time when someone’s pet ran into the picture. -_- I think the people training in the Parking Lot must have thought us crazy or something.

And of course, the death. At Bains, for crying shame. :/
But hey, I got S’Mega-ed, and it was well worth the death.

<3 The BucketHat and The Giver of BucketHats as well. <3333 It was time for the tables to be turned upon me, I guess. I have been teasing Wolfrage about his bucket for ages, and now I have to wear it. It simply looks ridiculous, with those ribbons. >O

The guild outing ended when we actually found an Anego in the Hideout, but we could not touch it because there was already a gang of ‘Pros’ there attacking it. Apparently, if we try to hit it, the ‘Pros’ will make sure that Incendiary as a guild would not exist anymore.

Like Imppala says, sounds like the ‘Maple Mafia’ at work. -_-

Anyway, it was nowhere as exciting as our Gunboss run; the ‘Pros’ took a really really REALLY long time to finish the old woman off, and even after close to half an hour of watching them, Anego still hadn’t died. I gave up waiting and logged off. >D

七 – The Fat Ghost Pirate killed me, YARRR. That’s one of the Ghost Ship maps in the new SEA Exclusive Singapore map, and those Mr. Anchors deal uberHUGE damage. >O A touch damage of 300+ and a magical one of 1.9k later = Dead Silver. And just when I had enough experience to lose too, damn.

More about Singapore in the next blog though. I have tones of SSes for thee~

FYI, though, I had a WHALE of a time doing all that dying. I don’t think I’d ever laughed so hard for so long in Maple before. There is a whole new different kind of fun to be found outside grinding, see.

And it’s still not enough to buy my Arund. T_T A nicely scrolled one goes for about 32m, bleeding Balrogs. T___T I’m contemplating buying this Atk 6, Dex +4 Level 80 glove though, at 6.5M, versus spending 10M on a Watk 100 Arund to get a boost of only 2 atk from my present Atk 98 Hinkel. But no one ever buys gloves scrolled for Atk that are job-specific, right? D:
