I hereby announce the fall of yet another poor, weak soul of an MMOtaler to the allure of teh awesomeful Silvar and the hungry monster of Aquila, MapleSEA…

(aka Squishable/Ebil/Insane/Promiscuous/[insert random adjective] Rat, and the person that still owes me AUS$100 million in alimony.

He started out with a magician beginner at first, and of course, I went to stalk him. FYI, I only managed to get that close to him after missing that platform for at least two times.

Then he decided to start a ‘Sin instead, and so I went to help. ^^ Those two Tobis were ones that Devvy had given me, and I wasn’t planning on selling them either, so I thought Nezzy would have a better use for them.

To complete the whole welcome package, I took him on a tour on the SEA exclusive maps i.e. Zipangu and China. Nez played Gastropoda (my little Snail nub of an Iizard

Aye. My first thoughts on it were along the lines of ‘WTH.’ too, if you discount the squees of joy at the uber-cute Chilli Slimes. ^^;

Then the Spa had its revenge.
It meant that I had returned to the same percentage that I had started out the day with. I was pretty discouraged from levelling after that. I mean, I even saw it coming, and simply couldn’t pot in time! >>; Pffbt, bummer.

So I entered into that restless mode of mine, where I’d hop between different maps and charries to stalk the BL.

Eona, guild leader of Incendiary, Cash Shop junkie, and intrepid entrepreneur with a Teddy Bear Shop.

Berry, long time Maple friend and Di (little brother). Recently suspended on his latest active character (QBerryQ), for at least the fourth time. Suspected cause: Past activities that involved the use of hacks. Thus while levelling QBerryQ legitly to lvl 71, most likely to have been banned based on old email address used to register Asiasoft Passport. Now finally giving up on training a Hermit and switching to the career of a DK instead.

Agent Verchiel did fall into company with stalkee for a while, and both gained a level up, and then some.

Then, teh Silvar went to a wedding!
… Nah, it ain’t her own.

It was Bluestar ‘s wedding, and she had invited me because I was on her BL. Note that I’m still not that close to her, so I don’t honestly understand why she’d spend the cost of a wedding invite on me.

Anyway. I haven’t been to a wedding before, and will probably never go to one any time soon unless I decide to, idk, respond to one of those silly S’megas calling for ‘kyoote GF 2 marry~’ or something.
And I’ll lose Nez’s alimony.

So, I got a wedding invitation. I thought it strange that I had to fetch it from the Cash Shop, but didn’t think much about it. When I logged back in at the appointed time of the wedding, I double-clicked on the invite…

… and got a omgPINK! dialogue, with ‘Receipient’ (yes, it’s spelt that way) and ‘Message’ field.
Blink blink, said the text cursor in the ‘Receipient’ field innocently.
Wth? I told it. Aren’t I supposed to be transported to the wedding place?
Blink blink.

Yeah. Bluestar sent the invitation wrongly. She ended up gifting me the invite instead. >>; Lookee what I tried to do with the invite anyway.

After sorting it out, I received the correct invite in my ETC inventory…
… and discovered that it didn’t work the way Global invites worked.
You have to make your own way to the wedding place. >O

Scrolled to Henesys and talked to the bald-headed monk dude next to the tree to Mushmom. And he promptly extorts 2,000 mesos from you before he could bring you to ‘that place in the sky’.

Yep. You have re-confirmed your status as a mesos/Cash sink, you marriage system, you.

How was the wedding?
Two words.

Boring, much.

There was nothing much to see, other than the huge like WOAH Oriental-themed Banquet hall. The wedding ceremony itself was held in a separate map, so there was no hope of any action from there.

And I was pretty much a random guest, knowing only one out of the six being married (yes, it was a triple wedding affair), and no one else at the celebration. And there was so much illiterate spam. D:

So there were these random SSes…
… and the getting hit on… (This is what his comeuppance was.)
… and the bawdy jokes (Oh, these were hardly in short supply. Sadly, I lack good SSes)…
… and the weather being spammed all over the place…
… and the single’s cynical remarks…
… Andandand the mess of flashing (PINK!!) Crush Rings and ‘My BF/GF’ signs all over the wedding altar, such that you aren’t quite sure who the hell is actually getting married. >>;

Ah well.
It was incredibly boring, honestly. I just didn’t want to leave too early, else it’d be impolite, but I doubt anyone would have noticed. >>;

Anyway. I went back to levelling Silver, after a three day hiatus because of work and stuff.

What could I do? The BL was unusually active, and I honestly think just plain grinding is not fun.
I ended up accepting a party invite, which forced me to actually train a little more. But I ended up chatting with the party member too (and the BL as well), so it was only slightly faster. >>;

And Nez was lamenting the ‘BAD SPELLING!’ that SEA-ers have, and how there better be a lot of hospitals, because he’s going to die more than once from it.
He says he won’t kill me if he sees me go into my full-on SEA-speak mode (because I’m too special and awesomeful :3) , but see, I don’t think anyone from MMOtales has really seen me break down into my version of SEA-speak yet (correctly spelt, but terrible grammar and horribly slangish), so I think he should reserve his comment before that.

So I levelled, using close to two hours to gain 9%. >>;

Was complaining about ‘too many drops!’ that Zipangu mobs had bestowed upon her, and needed help to transfer the equips to mules. For complaining about her good luck to a person that so far hasn’t gotten any drops for the past 50%… she was thusly punished. Target was not happy, of course, and proceeded to take revenge!
Of course, Bakwa has feelings too. And he has this to say.

Right. And that’s all. I’ve been wanted to play FlyFF, but the server stubbornly refuses to connect. Stupid thing.
