I figured its time for an update.
Because, yes, Im still alive. Kinda.

Okay, first of all, MSEA got Leafre. As maplesea.com speaketh, The scent of fourth job is getting stronger!
My first reaction?

I smell a conspiracy. Pun intended.
I havent been to Leafre, on account of lack of time. And a lack of interest (of being pwned by monsters of higher levels than I am).
The SG maps had x2 EXP in celebration of Malaysias Independence Day. Devvy went to take advantage of it to level up manymanytimes, and Gemmy the Nubcake Spearwoman decided to join in the fun.
Fun includes, as a bonus, this. Puts a whole new spin on drumming patriotism into ones head, Id say.
Congratulations are due to Eona on her bandit, Novv. 
So, school has started. Im in Uni now (or as you Americans say it, college). And its been really busy, in between lessons, horribly lengthy travelling times, my tuition jobs, piles and piles of essays and assignments
So far, my logins into Maple have been at best sporadic, and not at all productive in terms of training/leveling up/making mesos. In fact, this week, I have logged in a record number of times: once.
I havent had this level of inactivity since my Major MAJOR exams last year. :/
Then, there are things that conspire to make me even less enthusiastic about the bleeding game.
<Insert polite fit of irritation>
I dont know what else to call it. If your guild leader suddenly expelling every freaking person in the guild is not a crisis, then what is?
Eona called me up on my handphone, and mumbled something. I wasnt expecting news like this, of course, so when I heard kicked everyone out of the guild in the midst of that mumbling, I was shocked, to put it mildly.
When I got on, I was reinvited, and received an explanation.
Mind you, I still dont think theres any good explanation for reducing a guild of forty-three people, that even then was struggling to fit in more members, to a mere number of twelve or so now.
Am I pissed? You bet I am.
But I feel scarily numb over this incident. Im mad, yet not mad over it.
Anyone get what I mean? :/
I wish I was there to stop Eona from kicking everyone out though, then there will be no need for this repairs job. *sighs* I knew I should have logged in earlier.
Yep, so my first login to Maple was triggered by a guild crisis. Fun.
I guess I should tell this chronologically.
So, gather close for the sordid details.
Or else, flee from thence, my friends. Flee for your lives, flee far far away, for the upcoming soap-drama-episode is not the least bit pretty.
Fact of the day: Silver is a big fat hypocrite. She says things shes convinced shes sure about, then goes around to break those convictions into tiny itsy bits.
Just so you keep that in mind as you read the rest of this blog.
I have a Maple di, i.e. little brother. Im really sorry, and feel really stupid to be sorry, and feel really stupid because Im feeling stupid about being sorry, to say this, but Im a tiny bit embarrassed about the whole jie-di relationship that I have, even though I cherish it a lot.
(Come to think about it, Im embarrassed to call my RL sibs my sibs too, in that selfsame way. Whatever.)
I mean, Im the one that scorns Maple relationships like these; brother-sister, parent-children, and, not to forget, bf-gf.

Berry and I have been friends for a long while. A very long while. We met when we were little nubcakes training at the Pig Beach, and he was the one that encouraged me through all my seventy/sixty levels since then, even though he himself had to restart his characters again and again because they kept getting suspended right after he hit lvl 7x.

In the previous week, we were happily exploring Deep Ludi together. He was playing his lvl 97 Crusader, and was looking for a training spot in Dual Pirates. Well, those things in Deep Ludi hurt me like crazy, but I decided to take an airplane from SG, a townscroll to Ellinia, a ship to Orbis, and a train to Ludi just to accompany him, because I havent seen him in ages due to school.
I said something wrong, I think. Something about doing things for friends.
He asked Im onli just a friend to jie? and I answered, Would you rather be my enemy?
Bad move, Silvar.
That was the start of him ignoring me. Wouldnt answer when I said hi, and stuff like that. It was worse because he kept parking himself at Dual Pirates, and I had no idea how to get there to stalk him down.
I was very upset over it. Even more so then I had expected I would be. :/ I mean, its just a game, right?
But!
That Friday, while settling the Guild Crisis, he whispered to me and apologized, so we made up. He even Smega-ed an apology. Damn was I glad, just because we were /talking/ again.
Which was a good thing, because if he still wasnt talking to me while I was stalking him down at Dual Pirates

Well, it looked like things were looking up for me that Maple day.
In addition to patching it up with Berry, Eona gave me a workglove with three ATK on it, which was part of the guilds store. (Before you send scorn by the buckets, keep in mind that I have never even owned a scrolled workglove before. So it was an upgrade for me. 
)
After Berry logged off for a while, Tomi (aka xx3vil5inxx) logged in.
*mutters* I guess this has to be gotten out of the way as well.

Yknow, the whole bf-gf thing? Its really funny, because I have always turned down all the random proposals from random males in game. Basically because they were just that: really random.
But when Tomi asked, it felt strange to refuse. I mean, it wasnt the first time he asked, and every previous time, it was a joke. I almost died to the female Yakuzas one of those times he joked with me at the Showa Parking Lot.
And this third time, back in late July, I thought he was joking again, and was expecting a just jking any moment.
But that moment didnt come, and uh. Yeah.
Anyway. Things arent really that much different. As with everyone else on the BL nowadays, I rarely see, much less talk to Tomi, especially since we didnt exchange MSN addresses or any other contact details. Just communication in-game. We don’t even have an engagement ring and all its *shudder* PINK effects.
And I have to say something: why is it that names in the typical Maple relationship kinda get completely forgotten? Its always either dar, jie etc.
Cant you use names, people. Names. They dont mean any degree less of affection, right?
I suck at this explanation thing. *buries face in hands*
What Im trying to say in this super-convoluted way is: I have no idea what to make of this whole damn thing, but it sure ain’t… y’know, /that/ seriously. Its just a game, right?

Because it came to bite me in the arse the moment my guild people found out about it. It was all I THOT YOU SAY YOU NEVER WANT A MAPLE BF EVER!, and stuff.
So. Been there, cringed guiltily at that, ate my words, ran that whole gantlet. Go away.
Fact of the day two: IMO, there are really good reasons why I dont like to talk about some things.
I met up with Tomi, and we finished one of the new Ludi-Leafre quests together. Before that though, the sweet guy gave me a pair of Red Wing Boots (that is, my lvl 80 shoes) which he apparently hunted for at the Squids in Aqua Dungeons, and died in the process of picking it up.
For the quest, we both got tickets to Leafre, and decided to take a detour to Aqua before flying to Leafre to finish up the quest.
He killed some Squids while I hung around keeping manymany arms length from them, and then the Squids killed him. XD
Well, the travelling plans kinda got cut short, because Tomi DCd after that death, and his wonky internet connection wouldnt allow him back on. I wandered back to Ludi on my own, wearing the Original BucketHat from another Aqua quest, and went to release some Black Sacks in the Ludi PQ waiting area to, yknow, spread the joy.
Blame Wolfrage for that last bit: He kept mentioning Amy Winehouses Rehab whenever I talked to him.

Anyway. Berry logged back in to start his midnight Mapling spree, and I mentioned my aborted travelling plans to him. I didn’t even mention names, just said something like, ‘I was supposed to go to Leafre with a friend, but he DC’d.’

So theres my lvl 80 amour complete without me having to spend anything, yay. Gotta love the friends.

So my Maple day ended off like that, in a bittersweet kinda way. :/

u kno, i had a dream that i was in Singapore. i was in a car with some people driving into Singo from Malaysia. We were driving on a gravel road that was Bukit Hwy and after we crossed the bridge there were more trees. Woodlands Crossing was more like Stanley Park in Vancouver where I live.
There’s a bridge that goes over the water then into the park before the road enters the city.
Then in my dream there was no checkpoint, the gravel road turned to a paved road and there were arrows marked on it
showing that traffic entering Singapore had to drive on the left side of the road. Next I came up to this place where
these people were making bread bowls and loading them up with chicken, sushi and other yummy goodies *drools*. I thought
he was gonna want me to pay up 20$ but instead he gave it to me for free.
