What is, you might ask.

Lvl 66 is pretty much like lvl 65 though. But at least my exp bar was back at zero, and I could go random exploring i.e. suicide run, zomg! Since I had to get to El Nath to help my guildmate transfer stuff, I decided to plunge in deeper and see if I could make my way to the ‘Nath Dungeons.

I have never made that journey alone: the first time was with my Ranger Idol, the second was with another guildmate of mine from Genesis (my old and sadly deceased guild), and both of them were around lvl 9x: high enough to keep the noobie me safe from evil Yetis and Pepes.

It hurt a lot. YPP hit me for about 600+, Werewolves and Lycanthropes hit about 900+, if I didn’t remember wrongly. But I was too busy trying to get Silver out unpwned with minimal pot use (and trying to explain figurative meanings to said guildmate) to take note of the exact damages. But it hurt like hell, it did. I almost died about ten times. XD

I met this fizard dude at the white pangs area, and he looked like he was botting: he just BBQ-ed any Pangs that spawned, never moving from that one spot and never picking up his drops. Egged on by my bro, I asked if I could loot.

After a minute, he answered, ‘Okay.’

So I looted. ^^ I’m not above freebies like that, you know.

Then, after dashing like a madwoman through the super laggy zombie maps (my computer lags every time there’s more than one other person within sight of me), I hit the dead mine! First time, woot! *tags and bombs some flyeyes* So I took the liberty to just hang around to kill some Miners.

Soon after, a Priest, euniiceee comes along into the map and asks, ‘Got any gold tooths?’

SilverFx: Uh, only have one? Sorry, I only just came.
euniiceee: Hunting here?
SilverFx: No, only for fun. I’m bored mah.
euniiceee: oo. Pt? You take all loots, I take the gold teeth.

It sounded like a good proposal, so I accepted the invitation. And the fun began.

There was some friendly grumbling (‘Selfish zombies, never drop their teeth!’), and some random comments (‘Silver Vacuuming, at your service!’). Yours truly also made the discovery that ‘*threatens zombies with dentists*’ increased the gold teeth drop rate. It really works, so try it today! *play advertisement jingle*

The Priest got his Chief Bandit friend to come along and help, and the Exp was pretty decent despite the horrible level differences [ link ]. I got my second Holy Symbol buff ever (HS rocks my socks XD) and got to 5% in the time it took to gather about 17 teeth. I didn’t get to hang around to talk more crap, or tag along to the Zakum PQ they were heading towards, because all such plans were ruined by my mom’s keys in the door. :X

But most importantly, I had fun. That’s the point of a game, right?

Like I said earlier, I didn’t find lvl 66 much different from lvl 65, or 64 or 63 etc. Grinding and getting to a higher level gives you only that much satisfaction.

But fooling around and bopping random strangers with strange comments (Me to a random ‘Sader [Chrissyx was his name]: ‘Don’t you find it weird that when you type Crusader, f4 comes out?’)…

… and discovering that that ‘Celestiara’ in your guild is actually a guy, a male character complete with Metrosexual hair, ambiguous cash-shop clothes and bisexual real life name (‘You really have something for ambiguous genders, don’t you, Alex.’) [ link ]…

… and discovering that everyone thought SilverFx was male too (‘And all this while, I thought you were a guy! F7’)…

… and trying to stalk the various choingsters hanging around in Showa and finding out that they are all in the Secret Spa (M) -_-; (‘THIS IS GENDER DISCRIMINATION, YOU STINKY WIZET!’)…

… and releasing four bags of Toy Trojans right smack in the middle of Mushroom Shrine, only to have no one to kill them with >.> [ link ]…

… and trying to kill a ‘noob’ in Dark Sight standing around in Showa Street by luring the magic attacks of the Yakuza to him, only to find out that he’s a uber-high-levelled Chief Bandit…

… and fooling around with a lvl 14x Ranger in Florina Beach, trying to ruin his efforts in flirting with the three Hula girls and getting the ‘Taste of Florina Beach’ quest done with too much overkilling [ link ]…

… and and…! ^^ Nothing can beat that, I think.

Not to mention that my drops luck has been on the rise so far. I managed to get a Seclusion Wristguard amongst other drops at Showa, while another noobie character of mine recently got a Panlid. Even that one random adventure at the Dead Mine yielded a pair of earrings. Seriously running out of equip inventory space here! XD

So who cares if everyone is overleveling you? The guildmate mentioned at the beginning of this blog was exclaiming his rapidly rising percentages and prompting my usual comment to chiongsters (‘You’re nuts.’) So he thought I was afraid of getting overtaken.

And despite a solid ten minutes of explaining, he couldn’t understand why I didn’t care if he did outlevel me, or rather, when he will outlevel me. XD How hard is that to understand, I don’t know. If I really wanted to ‘care’, I would have thrown a fatal fit when my Ranger Idol started to rocket up to his present level, him having joined when I was about 5x.

Besides, I’ve just started work, and my life promises to be really busy. Even lesser time for Mapling, whee. So much for that goal to get to 7x. T_T
