I’ve gotten back into this game.

Although it’s on a free server, it’s still fun.

Wonderful graphics, lovely music, playing the game amuses me more than Maple Story right now, and the fact that it’s easy to level is a good thing, too.

Time to explain my time on Lineage, though.

I logged into the game, remembering the lush enviornments and rich music, the beautiful graphics and the lovely game play. I quickly created a new character, by the name of “Shmooki.” A human Mystic, nothing special. Logging in, I saw something I hadn’t before. The newbie area was infested with Gremlins! So, with my trusty Wind Blow, I promptly exterminated wave after wave. But they wouldn’t stop coming. So I finally did what the game was bugging me to do and went to talk to the two instructors in the temple. They asked me to find a Blue Gemstone from the Gremlins, which they had stolen.

You’re supossed to be the High Priest, and you can’t even take on a Gremlin? What the hell?

So, I did as I was asked, and retreived the gem for the old man. He rewarded me with 200 Spirit Shots. Spirit Shots are basically add ons to your spells. You use one before a spell, and it makes the spell more powerful, and allows it to be cast more quickly.

After killing a few more Gremlins, I made my way to the Talking Island City. There, someone went over Shout asking if any newbies needed help. I immediatly rushed over to see what services he could provide for me. As I got close, he dropped 200,000 Adena, the currency in this game. In shock, I thanked him and wished him the best.

As that was done, I went to the Temple to gain new skills with my new found wealth. Spending all of my availible SP, I earned all of the spells I could. Heal, Might, Shield, Curse: Poison, Cure Poison, Ice Shot, and a few other spells to put under my belt. I was a happy Mystic, yes I was.

Completing a few more quests, I decided to call it quits for the night, just happy that I had gotten back into a game I love.

And if anyone else wants to join me for some unknown reason, feel free to PM me. I’ll be sure to give you detailed instructions on how to get the game/patch it/run it, without screwing things up as I did the first time.
