We all have our stupid days in MapleStory. It’s the day when EVERYTHING you do ends up wrong. Whether it’s AFK-ing and getting killed or forgetting to talk to an NPC. We all have them and this is my turn to share mine with you all.

If I can remember it will, it was on a Thursday. I had an appointment to go to at 9a.m. So after getting ready I decided to burn off some time by playing MapleStory. Come to find out the channels are packed! So I figured, ‘Ah, screw training. I’ll do it when the channels are less packed.”

A few minutes into the game, a GM uses a Megaphone to announce that a summoning event will be in Ch 20, Rm 18 I believe. I’m not really clear on the room and channel but it was around those numbers. Me and my buddies decide to go and check it out. Just as I figured, the room is packed tight and laggage there is a b1tch. The GM declares you have 5 minutes to prepare yourself for the Crimson. I end up going all the way to the side because I’m lagging like hell. The laggage becomes even more worse when people continue coming in. One after another, after another. Then bam! Crimson is summoned. I end up dying then lost connection because of the laggage. Bam! I have my appointment to go to. Great.

I come back and I the GM is doing one more Summoning Event. Except this time you had to find the room yourself, luckily one of my guild members found it and told us. About 20 Crimsons were summoned and it sucked because I didn’t DIE in a good place to get decent SS’es. He revived us a couple of times making my total death by Crimsons 4.

After the events are over, I decide to finally do that Maplebook Quest. I head over to Orbis and I spent about 60k on the ship BACK TO ELLINIA. After the 3rd trip I realized I should have been on the trip TO ORBIS to achieve the chest. Great, 60k down the drain. I head over to Ludi real quick to pick up about 8 Orbis Tickets there and go back on the ship to Orbis. After Orbis, I head over to Ellinia and go AFK on the ship. I figured well I doubt Crimson will come out, right? So I just AFK for a good decent amount of minutes. I return and I’m dead! T_T Total number of deaths by Crimsons, 5!

After I finally achieve the first Maplebook going TO ORBIS, I log out during the ship ride to end up in Ellinia. I go retrieve the 2nd MapleHistory book and head over to Ludi to search the last and final book. On the ship ride there, I’m accompanied by a sin. He goes out really quick to see if Crimson’s there. He comes back and says, “Crimson out there. F7” I F6 him and he says, “Go check if you dun believe..” I go out really quick and I’m encountered by a Crimson. I quickly run back in and F7 him. That brings my total number of deaths by Crimson, 5! Err, 5 and a HALF! ;D

When I arrive in Ludi, it takes me about 3 minutes to hunt for the 3rd MapleHistory book. I head back to Ellinia to talk to Jay. When I arrive in Henesy, I finally realized that I forgot to talk to the NPC in Ludi! I swear under my breathe and sadly go back on the boat to Ludi.

Talk about a long day. ;-;
