Marauder Lee scrolls a shoe

So, maybe two days ago, I got my hands on a 60% shoe speed scroll. I hadn’t been looking for it in particular. No, I’d simply finished that jump quest of Cheng’s and received it as a reward.

I decided I was too lazy to sell it, so I went and found a shoe to scroll. I opened up my equipment inventory, clicked the scroll, clicked the shoe, and suddenly remembered my horrible luck with scrolling: I’ve never worked a 60% scroll in my life. Even if I’ve only used two.

Well, what do you know. There’s a first time for everything. [1]

So, with this new confidence in my scrolling abilities, I go and dig out that 60% bow scroll I’d been holding on my cleric, transfer it over, and use it. NOT very smart. [2]

Marauder Lee meets some people

Yesterday, while at lusters, I ran into a random level 5x archer, who upon seeing me said “holy crap”. Here we go again, I thought. The guy’s going to ask me what the heck a level 49 is doing at lusters.

Instead, it was someone I recognized from the Basilmarket bowman forum. [3, look at the chat box] Well, I didn’t recognize the name immediately. It was only until I’d gone on Basilmarket an hour later that I realized, that guy was kennethjay. And then I was like, “HOLY ****, what a coincidence”. Heheh.

And, just a few hours ago, I signed on my cleric to sell that mystic shield of mine. I didn’t need it, I hardly played my cleric anyway, and I needed the money. So on my way to the cab in Ellinia, I saw none other than the Ninja’s ladyfriend [4]. Who probably didn’t notice me at all, or if she did, she didn’t know it was me XD

I alt+tabbed out of Maple just to double check that this was indeed Ladyfriend. It was. When I came back, she’d vanished without a trace.

Lol, actually she went to channel 8 somewhere, but I’m no stalker so I left her be.

Right after I took that screenie, I yelled at him. “Would i sell it if I’M USING IT!?” He closed the trade pretty quickly after that XD

A bit unneccessarily mean, but you would too if you’d just spent an hour and a half looking for a mystic shield buyer.

I hop back onto my bowman and painstakingly train to 50%. For the fourth time since level 49.

Oh the agony. It’s making me careless. Early New Year’s Resolution: die less, so I can actually level for once. So close yet so far.. T.T
