Amazingly, a huge blizzard hit my area and we had no school for TWO days so far. I doubt my luck will hold till tomorrow but I can hope, can’t I?

This morning I logged on to silence. Buddy list? No one. Guild? Just me. No surpises there; what were the chances that everyone else got a snow day? I walked over to the Excavation Site, trying to kill time until someone logged on. As I walked, a pink bubble popped up in the corner and Lacus logged on! We did the quest where you kill Wooden and Stone masked monsters. Apparently, she had a snow day too. *Fast forwards past the exploring Sharenian and getting owned part*

We were at the Mushmom. Luckily, we picked an empty channel. Just then, this guy comes in and goes AFK on the rope. Lacus and I mindlessly killed Iron Hogs until she had to eat breakfast. While she was away, the MM fricken came! I tried to wait for her, but this mage came and I quickly started attacking the MM. Being a Cleric, however godly, I got owned. Three 60% scrolls exploded from the MM along with a spore and a bag of Mesos. THREE SCROLLS! They turned out to be a 60% Overall for DEX, a 60% Jump, and a 60% Glove for DEX scroll! Whoa, a ton of money down the drain. Sorta sucked.

Anyways, shortly after that depressing turn of events, I let my brother on the computer. He registered ZarBear for the GQ and waited patiently. While doing that, he got $10 NX and bought this awesome outfit that I picked out for him (with some input from him, of course). Ha ha. It took an hour to pick out the outfit and it was worth exactly 10k NX. Nice, eh?

3 hours later. . .

Four people were online in the guild by now, and he decided to go recruiting. However, ZarBear was only 3rd on the list. Plenty of time to recruit, right? He went over to Henesys to look for a level 30 or lower to GQ with the guild, and ran into this literate person trying to throw Heart Chocolates up on the platform where the Ace of Hearts stands from the ground. It’s harder than it sounds.

Another hour later. . .

ZOMG! WE’RE NEXT?! Instead of recruiting, he threw Heart Chocolates in the air. They missed the GQ. Who knew that so many guilds that signed up weren’t going to actually do it? The 2nd attempt also failed miserably. We had 10 people waiting at the GQ place waiting for over an hour. THEN, after waiting about an hour and 15 minutes at 1st on the wait list, a Jr. Master accidentally unregisters.

Attempt 3: Long story short. Only 6 people were on, and one of them didn’t get in the GQ in time.

Attempt 4: They actually got in! Zomgsh! There were only 5 people online and they had to rush to get another person. By the time they were in, they realized there was no nublet to help them. Of course, now I realize they didn’t need one as they were stuck on stage 1 for 40 minutes before someone gave up and quit the GQ. Whoot!

First GQ : Failed. Horribly.

Oh yeah, some time before the 4th attempt, one of our guild members got BANNED for profanity. Well, temp-banned. For a week. Tyno, you idiot. A GM appeared called the Banniator or something like that. I’d like to add that I was expelled from the guild twice since I couldn’t play while my brother was leading the GQ. Now, I’m a CrapCookie again. NOOOOOOO! I wanna be ChunkyChip!

Then, logging off Maple, I ran straight to MMO Tales after restarting my computer. (The browsers weren’t working.) I read MikuniZer0’s most recent blog — one of her most depressing stories ever. I’m so, so sorry Rya. T_T
