Except for the fact that all the monsters grant ‘good experience’ when you kill them.

I do wish they gave us the 2x ‘compensation’ next week, not this week. I can’t imagine how many Maplers were pressured to train instead of enjoy their Thanksgiving weekend.

I’m one. I took full advantage of the 2x (well no – there’s been 36 hours so far and I’ve used maybe 10) and leveled my main from 55 to 57, and my strless from 32 to 34-and-80% (waiting for tomorrow’s 2x to finish it off and… WEAR MY MAPLE BOW! Well, the thing’s fugly, but it’ll double my damage range. And at this point, when I get outdamaged by the weakest of level 25’s, that means a lot).

Unfortunately, I was zoned out during my strless’s levelups (bubblefish are so fun to mob, you don’t even notice your exp ), and level 57 came from LMPQ, so this is the only levelup screenshot I managed to obtain.

Since this is a MMO site, I won’t go too much in detail about Thanksgiving in RL, but I will say this. We were up till about 4 AM on Friday morning XD
I also found out that one of my RL friends plays maple, and is a level 5x page.

Well, aside from an abnormal amount of levelups, nothing much eventful happened. I used up my remaining heartstoppers in order to add another entry to my high-level-monster-kills-list: 1 squid.

And I realized that bubblefish (one of the numorous insignificant monsters in the above of Aqua) mob really nicely and make for good exp for a level 32-34 bowman spamming Arrow Bomb. I guess crowded maps does have a good consequence; it lets you discover training spots no one would’ve guessed. I mean, training on bubblefish? o_o
