No kidding. I haven’t been as generous with my F10 button as I usually am. Thus this blog will be boring, because I have to narrate everything instead of letting the pics do the work. I do have the odd screenshot here and there, but as the title says, there really isn’t much.

Right. So, about a week ago, I decided to finally finish that ReVersal quest.
60 temporal fragments. A map full of Tick-Tocks. Two hours of double drop–which I missed all but the last 10 minutes of. -facepalm-
I end up having to get the last 40 temporal fragments or so during normal drop, which takes FOREVER.

After I’ve collected about 50 of them, I get bored.

I LMPQ ’till I drop. Along the way, I collect enough pots for the coming month, and scroll my spare maro with defense. Two 30%’s work on it, then it blows up. Dang.

Then, while I’m randomly hanging out in Toy Factory doing nothing, someone whispers me. Turns out he’s a friend of mine, Technolink. He plays Broa, but he says he’s starting a new char in Khaini and he’ll split his time between the 2 worlds. Yay, more friends

We idly chat for a few moments, and then fake Alishar literally spawns on me. (Psh, he was easy.)

Then this F/P wizard in my guild announces that she’s going to DTs. I follow, just for the heck of it.

We kill several. I comment on how cheap Poison Brace is. She laughs at how long I take to kill one with the old fashioned sit-and-snipe. Give me a break, I have to break through 700 DEF and a 28-level difference on every attack. Not a walk in the park. I die.

Turns out her poison does 666 damage a second. Rofl. I wish I had a screenshot to show you, but I don’t.

Then fake Pap spawns. We fight it. The first form is fond of doing its little defense-mode thing every couple of seconds. We wait. We attack. It dies.

Halfway through the second form, it just randomly flies off. We f6 at each other, then give chase. It goes through a mob of DTs. We lose it. I catch a glimpse of it and attack. Hit, it flies to me. I fall, but she’s attacking it now. I climb back up and we shoot at it with no further difficulties. Eventually, we kill it. Yay

Later, another one spawns on a different channel. Its attack knocks me off a safe platform into a death teddy. I die.

Next. I take my 60 temporal fragments to NLC, where it is exchanged for a 70% glove scroll. I’d been planning to scroll a bowman glove with 100%’s for a 5 attack glove, for some time now. I decide that instead of selling my 70%, I’ll use it instead to get a 6 attack glove. Can’t hurt.

I take a deep breath. It works. Again, I wish I’d screen’d it.

So a couple days later, I meet up with someone on Basil, whose auction I won. We trade. I purchase a Dark Versal Materia from him for 1 mil.

In my inventory sits a Dark Matter and a Blinking Dingbat. If you’ve ever forged an iTCG item, you’ll know what I’m planning to do next. I’m planning to forge one of these.

So after I go to Professor Foxwit and exchange my obscure artifacts for a manual, I head to Omega Sector. But on the way, I am detained by the double exp event. For who wants to be stuck in Omega Sector for double exp?

I share a 2nd dummy map with the same F/P from before (who is suddenly three levels higher than she was during the DT incident), and train for a mostly uneventful 2 hours. There was one funny (depending on your viewpoint) happening though.

It went like this. The guild members are chatting just for the sake of chatting. I type while fighting, under the naive assumption that I would be able to pot in time. I’m wrong. I die, right after I type I’ll go and suicide in Leafre when it comes out. How ironic, eh

So once 2x is over, I head to Omega and make a beeline for Spindle. Guess what he says.

In essence, “Go and bring me a crapload of ores so I can sell them on the black market. In return, I’ll make you a Sirius Cloak.”

I have all the sapphires and most of the diamonds, but on the gold I am at a loss. I manage to extort a plate and 4 ores from guild members, then go to FM.

GOLD ORES FOR 10K?! NOWAI.
Ripoff artists. =____=

3 hours later, I’m 300k poorer and I have all my materials ready.

It glows *_*

Oh, and I saw a fake crog in the map right of jr yetis. Struck me as an odd place for that to spawn, but oh well. Killed it; that makes the third fake boss I’ve run into XD

And yeah. Everything else would bore you. I can sum it up in 2 words: training idly.
