MS Scout

OH snap. I accidently deleted my ‘Rokuji, the TauroMaci slayer!’ blog. Who the hell made the DELETE button on the side where the SUBMIT usually is, without a ‘Warning! Are you sure you want to delete? [yes/no]’. T_T

Oh well. I guess it can’t be helped.

Anyway, just a quick blog here. People asked me alot for how that MS Scout program worked and where they could get it. Well, I uploaded it, and you can download it here.

MS Scout is a program that lets you put in your stats (level, STR, weapons even!) and calculates how much your hit percentage is, how many of that monster you have to kill to level, etc.
It’s a good program.

Rokuji, The Tauromaci slayer

G’day. This is my second blog, and instead of another rant I’m posting about something that happened about an hour ago (an hour before I submitted this blog, anyway.)

I was training, like usual, on the ‘Drake’s Meal Table’ map. Everything was peachy, thank god my buddy list was all offline and my guild too, so I didn’t get TOO absent of my real goal for the hours to come; Training.

After finding a set of Kumbi’s , I was happy. First drop of the day, and knowing I could try to sell it for about 275,000 meso, gave me a smile. I just wondered what monster dropped it; The cold eyes, the Drakes or the Cargo’s. They were all in the horde I was wildy swinging my blade at, so I decided to search for safety and Alt+Tab to hidden-street.

Then, after about 2 minutes of searching a rope that I wouldn’t get bounced off and raped in the corner, I did so. It seemed that the Kumbi’s were dropped by the Drakes, but then something else caught my attention. I checked what the Cargo’s dropped, and was surprised that it’s description said it was ‘VERY VERY powerful’. I grabbed a program called ‘MS Scout’ I found on a basil topic before, and checked how many Cargo’s I needed to kill before leveling. It was about 3600 or so.

I then startled at it being the fourth strongest monster on Victoria. I was just amazed and stared at it for a minute, thinking of monsters that could be stronger. But they weren’t on vic. I felt some sort of pride welling up in me.

Eventually, I snapped out of it and looked at the monsters that were stronger then it. The only three monsters that actually where, ‘TauroMacis’, ‘TauroSpears’, and ofcourse, ‘Jr.Balrog’.

I was pretty amazed at the fact that the monster I was training on was so close to Jr.Balrog. After randomly bashing on the three monsters to watch their picture and see their damage, I decided to check if I could kill one. I did the calculations, and it said I could 100% hit TauroMacis.

Stunned, I was. Literaly stunned. I could take down TauroMacis, which I always found some of the strongest monsters, or atleast, that’s what this program thing said. I decided to train some more, and after getting to 42%, I couldn’t take it anymore and headed for the Sanctuary entrance.

I went down the almost invisible piece of rope, and made my way thru the long path of Cold Eyes, gaining some more Gold Ores.

I finally arrived at the Cursed Sanctuary, and I kept my head high, hoping the program that gave me hope of me, actually killing TauroMaci, was right.
(About screenshot 2; I just got in and was ready to fight them, when that stupid elemental MapleTip showed up. As warriors don’t have real elements, I F3’d. XD)

I jumped in and was ready for action. (#3) Moving my fingers slowly to the buttons that Power Striked, I started bashing it, trying to avoid it’s attacks. Eventually, it started casting thunder, which I totally forgot that he could. After quite some unagi’s, I got the first one (#4) to die. It didn’t drop anything, and I wanted REAL proof that I took one down. I started chasing another one.

This one was a bit tougher. He had brought a friend along, and a Cold Eye. I didn’t fear the Cold Eye, but wasn’t I getting too hyped up, forgetting I should fear these monsters instead of thinking I could take them both down at the same time?!

After a battle that lasted quite some minutes, I was the victor. (#5) I had taken down the TauroMaci, and took his horn.

Then something evil happened. They started to respawn. Fast. O_O; I had no other option but to bash ‘Cash shop’, which took me straight to the place I wanted to be; the entrance of my training spot, the Drake’s Meal table map.

Not quite the heroic exit, but meh. I don’t mind if you didn’t even like this blog, I had a fun time doing the small adventure and writing this blog. I guess the real moral is that you should always look for monsters you can kill, but not get too confidend and think you can take them all. <__<;;
