Ugh, so I login to collect more seedlings and I have no luck with it. Why is it that high-levels always get shafted in everything from levels to items? Bah.
I had this bp come up to me and beg for buffs in the middle of me fighting a tombstonebearer. The convo went something like this:
Him: buffs me pliz
Him: buffs me pliz
Him: buffs me pliz
Me: after I finish killing this~
Him: buffs me pliz
Me: (thinking to myself) ohemgee be patient
Me: (finishes killing tomby, buffs him)
Him: thkzs you! (grabs every mob in the area and runs off with them to aoe)
Me: (left standing mob-less) … np (thinking to myself) … you arse.
So after waiting around for the mobs to respawn I killed about 4, looked at my exp, got discouraged (I’m 2% away from 50%), looked in my inventory for seedlings and got even more discouraged, and logged off. I need a nap anyway.
I might go on my str knight-vagrant to collect seedlings. Newbs have an easier time of getting stuff like that. It’s what I had to do last year as well, but not only to get seeds but buckets as well. Thank goodness they don’t require us to have buckets this time, cos they were rare and really hard to get.
Why can’t the BP buff himself? After all AoEs only need patience and heap up o.O
I’m a 1v1 battle assist and I never ask for buffs. In fact I’m always the poor one buffing others cause I have maxed Cannonball earlier than FS assists =S
Anyway the next time he grabs your mobs, here’s what you do. Just slowly attack them and kill them one by one while he’s running away to mob more XD
Personally I will never buff someone unless he/she says spells please in full. If he/she gives me a ‘plz’, ‘pls’ or ‘pl0x’, that means I’m getting the message that my buffs are not even worth the typing the two extra letters so they have to take it out to save time. And as for ‘pl0x’, that word is just plain wrong >=(

He probably sensed that I was an FS. You know, noobs can sense that, from miles away. . . it’s quite scary, really. Also his buffs probably sucked. XD
You have a point about the please thing, but usually I accept ‘pls’ or even ‘plz’, since it does mean “please”. I never accept ‘pl0x’ unless I’m training with a friend and the friend says it to be silly. I shouldn’t have even accepted this guy’s ‘pliz’ but I was feeling generous for some reason.
I have a newb char in Mia, but I haven’t decided what to make it yet. I’m usually in Aibatt though.
Is it sad that I didn’t notice this was about FlyFF until the last paragraph? lol I skipped over the description tags I guess and thought it was Maple and I just went brain-dead on some terms. Anyway, sorry about the moron attack. Hate when that stuff happens, though I normally just start KSing people who do that stuff . . . I’m a bad person.
