Ohemgee GE is starting to really piss me off. I still can’t manage to get through the bloody Al Quelt Moreza without dying repeatedly to some stupid aggro mob. (>_<#)
I was killed by a mob of level 10s and 12s, and the members of my family are each level 17! 17! I can’t believe it. Well, they’re going to stay there for awhile.
I think the GMs set the aggro on the mobs way too high. It’s no fun if you can’t even get out of the stupid bloody maze, with a scout no less. Argh. (stabs GE’s aggro system repeatedly) Not even the mobs in Flyff are this bad; at least they leave you alone after awhile, and I’ve never had more than 3 aggros on me at once in Flyff.
D: In GE I had at least 10 monsters on every member of my family, and that was just running through the stupid maze. I wasn’t even fighting any of them, unless I got tired of them and dispatched them. But even after that, they wouldn’t relent. There were other afk families fighting, why couldn’t they go bother them? Grrr.
I’m going to go play some MSEA for awhile.
Exactly. I never thought I would complain about a surplus of monsters that were willing to fight. And it seems my Scout is never willing to fight either. >.>
At least he can heal, but certainly not fast enough. xO

I could actually kinda dash through the entire place without dying, at that level. ><
And there were always so many people killing the mobs, I could shuck my aggros off onto any other random botting family.
(Yeah, someone else dies instead of me. ^^; )
Maybe you need better armour?
[edit] Okay, I re-read the blog. Maybe you have to kill them off before they get too high in numbers for your family to handle. I just kill along the way, so I don’t get too huge a following. It takes more time, but beats dying all the time. :X
Cheezy: My scout is a heal-slave. His hands have never held a dagger, and they never will. Haha.
Silver: Ya, maybe I’ll have to start doing that again, but it gets so tedious, especially with some people screaming “ks!” cos they think you’re fighting their mobs. D: And I just bought armour, it’s supposed to last at least 8 levels I read on the forums.
@Roisin: I just switch to the squad chat and feign ignorance at any silly ‘KS!’ cries.
Maybe that’s why I don’t even see them. ^^;
Oh, lol. I’ll have to start doing that too. XD I used to tell people (not in GE but in Flyff) when they cried about ksing, if they really wanted to be ksed they should go play MS for a few hours. Then they’d know what true ksing was.
Hey, there isn’t any stupid fame system in GE, so to hell with the whiners. =P
But usually, I just go and find some discreet corner in a corridor, or stop in front of a narrow doorway. That way you can put your tank out front (if you have one), the mobs get funnelled together, and an AoE or 2 will wipe out most of them.
Heheh, I like that funnel strategy. So cruel. And the mindless aggros don’t know what’s coming. *chortle*
