Events ****ing suck?

I’ve never participated in an event, I couldn’t remember why, it was, God, so long ago, I’m not even kidding, the last time I even acknowledged the existence of events.

So I decided “I have hugely negative feelings toward the event, but I don’t know why, let’s find out”

I go to some channel, I find an intelligent person that doesn’t belong to some “MSksrz” or “noobpwns” guild, who make some face at you when you ask a question like idiots. Not because they know the answer, it’s a defensive pose, “I don’t know, but I’m going to act like I do, that’s cool”

So I’m talking to her, no one knows what kind of reward you get for doing the event, so what is the point in that? Like the 1000 drum quest you strive to beat and find out it’s YET ANOTHER FREAKING LEVEL 35 HAT YOU DID NOT NEED.

I continue questioning, I learn the GM goes to some continent on some channel, no one knows where it is, no one tells you, you’re just supposed to “Find” it, if you happen to be on the same continent AND channel, you can get in with only so many other people, or something.

So, events suck ass, and I had a great memory refresh as to why I have such negative feelings towards them, much like the PQ scheme, the opposite of fun, hard as hell to pull off, and time wasted. Man the people who designed this game are impossible idiots.

  1. ehh?
for my friend in the windia sector,
he said the gms told you where to go.
and they hasted you and gave you free stuff.
    plus, his team won
    i guess your GM’s like to be weird. . . .

  2. I dunno about prizes, no one says anything, but they didn’t tell us crap, it just happens, people say they “announce” it but they did not, and the hour is almost over.

  3. No one is really asking you to participate in them or even play the game. X:
People on MapleStory rarely appricate what we do have to our advantage since we’re blinded with overexaggerated ‘faults’ to MS like hackers, prices, etcetc.

  4. Ah, and the Wizet butt kissing comes out, I thought for a second it might not. Over exaggerated? You know, I’d thank you kindly to take your pandering elsewhere, I’ve dealt with these “over exaggerated faults” since Beta, three some years, they aren’t faults, they’re lazy, corrupt GMs who refuse to fix or improve these massive problems with the game.

Holy crap, the rope bug, where you hold over and up to the top of a rope and get stuck, that’s been there since I JOINED THE BETA, and it still hasn’t been fixed.

  5. I remember a GM Event last year, the one I went to this year. . .

    Well, lagfest.

It was so laggy that my computer even froze from all of the activity that was going on.

I dun really care about them anyway.

As long as I see a GM, i’m happy.
