Dear Nexon:
Please stop with the server checks already. Or at least, stop having them on nights when I don’t have to work and have nothing else to do, really. (I work the graveyard shift.) Both last Thursday and this Thursday there have been server checks during the time I had wanted to spend a long period playing. There was also a server check, what, two nights ago? Have a server check during the middle of the day once in awhile, it’s not fair to the rest of us. >< And why do we have to have a 6 hour one tonight if there’s going to be a probably 10 hour patch in a week and a half? Augh.
In other, more pleasant news, despite all the server checks I’ve managed to get my ILzard up to lvl 50! 
I wanted to do it by new year’s, but various things (work, roommate, presents, sc) kept me from being able to play as much as I wanted to. Oh well.
I do wonder what skill to leave out… I thought slow, since most people leave that out and I never used it much with my F/P Mage, but an I/L Mage friend of mine (who’s like… lvl 138?) said yesterday that if he had to do it over he’d take slow and leave out MP eater. Which I can kind of understand, with the MP costs of skill attacks and magic guard. Hrm. Any thoughts?

Why do we have a 6 hour server check tonight? Possibly to get rid of all those hackers and update the GG.

You should have bought it. Maybe it makes you invisible.
The dot is a smuggled piece of the Guild Quest. It’s the item you get after you defeat Ergoth, meaning if you went in the Guild Quest with that, you can skip Ergoth and go straight to Bonus.
The server checks are to provide efficiency to their Server Change/Name Change cash item, and to add other cash items.
Server checks are for them to make more hackers and to pretend to ban ’em >D
