So, last night one of my buddies convinced me and another buddy to try the first part of the Zakum quest. (To get dead mine scrolls, I assume.) The very first part, with the keys and all the walking was okay, if not kind of annoying.
The second part, however, was a jump quest.
Jump quests and I do not get along. At all. It might have something to do with the fact that I’ve been playing MS since February and I STILL can’t jump properly when under pressure. Or not under pressure, even. As I have said many times while playing, I am extremely skilled at falling.
So I didn’t do the second part. Gave up after 45 minutes. *shrug* In the future, if I REALLY want to get to zombies I’ll either buy a scroll or WALK. It’s far less painful and far cheaper.

In an unrelated rant, why does every lower level (meaning, barely to second job or less) person I come across automatically assuming that since I’m over lvl 60 I’m a hacker? I don’t hack. I hate hackers. I spend part of my maple day making hackers miserable. (It’s fun.) But you know what, most people over lvl 60 aren’t hackers. If they were, the game would have ceased to function properly by now. (There’s over 45,000 lvl 60+ chars in the game.)
I train a lot. On day when I don’t work I usually train for 7+ hours. Probably 30+ hours a week, depending on how I feel. I won’t be playing as much in November (due to involvement in something else) and I want to get to 70 by the end of the year, so I’m training now. There’s nothing wrong or cheating or whatever with that.
Sure, on BELLOCAN it’s pretty safe to assume that anyone over lvl 60 probably hasn’t been playing through the fairest of means. And since I play on Khaini I know there’s plenty of hackers on that server. (And I understand the general suspicion levelled toward any lv100+ player on Khaini. Especially since so many of the 100+ players are known hackers.) But it’s rude and unfair to the legit players to just automatically assume than anyone a higher level than you has been cheating. So unless you see someone hacking yourself, please keep your mouth shut.
I’d rant about people whining then they get “scammed” or lose stuff in a drop game, but that’s been ranted about before and I have to go to work now. X_x
