What Came Out Of The Door – Part One

[u]NOTE: Make sure you read the Prologue before this so you can understand it a little more =][/u]

I came out of the small mushroom house. I looked at the beautiful scenery around me. It would always open my eyes whenever I’m tired.
I got out my Steel Avarice, and my Dark Pilfer.
Rose took out her Wagner and her Red Pilfer.
“Ugh man. I’m still tired.” I yawned.
Rose smacked me on the back, “Walk straight!”
I nodded slowly and stood straight, “Where are we going again?”
“Welllll. . . . Master said he needs 1000 curse dolls. . . . which would take hours.” Rose said.
“That old hag? Why does she needs em?”
“I don’t know. . . But I do know that we’re late thanks to you. . . . .” Rose sighed.
I felt a little guilty for Rose and looked at the ground, “uhh.. . . sorry about that.”
Rose sighed again, “It’s okay. Let’s just worry about our job right now.”
“Kay then, what’re we waiting for? Let’s go to Ellinia.” I took out a sack of mesos for the cab.

A few moments later. . . . . .

“Okay, we’re here. Get your weapons out cause we’re gonna kill. . . . . .. . . . over a thousand zombie lupins.” My confidence faded away to pure lazyness.
“Don’t worry. It’s like killing 10 zombie lupins…. . .. . 100 times.” Rose said.
“Let’s just get our asses to work.” I said as I got out my Tobis.

We walked to the tall green tree which had Zombie Lupins walking around.
“This is it. Let’s start killing. . . .” I said.
“First one to get 500 curse dolls wins!” Rose grinned.
I laughed, “Let’s make this a little more interesting. Winner gets the loser’s mesos. . . .”
“All of em?”
“All. . . . .”
“Okay. Deal.” Rose said as she marched towards the tree.

We began killing like animals. We used countless attacks and skills that drove the monkeys insane.
Rose’s Savage Blows echoed repeatedly through the whole tree while my Lucky 7’s launched like a machine gun.
The people that were in the tree comepletly stopped and started to stare at us with big eyes and blank faces.
Each tobi I threw was filled with a gallon of my energy and each swing Rose did made numbers and numbers.
I could see sweat in Rose’s face.
“Heh. . . . Tired already?” I asked.
“Not even a breath.” Rose said.
We continued our hunting and began killing endless mobs of monkeys.
Each monkey cried as we did endless strikes. Some mobs were even running away.
We hunted for a few hours.
“Hey Rose! How many dolls do you have??” I called from the other side.
“219! You???” Rose called back.
“224! HAHA! I’M WINNING!” I laughed.
“I doubt that!” Rose said. She began using a different technique, Steal.
It took the monkeys’ dolls before she even kills them.
“CHEATER!” I yelled.
Rose giggled as she continued to do her skill.

Meanwhile. . . . . At the Ellinia Station.

“So this is Victoria,” A girl stepped out of her ship. She had long brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. “My journey begins here.”
“Hey you. . . .” A voice called.
She turned around. She saw a very tall man with a heavy axe.
“Y-yes?” The girl asked.
“What do you know about that door. . . .” The man said.
“What door?” The girl began to hide her knowledge.
“Don’t play dumb. You should know at least something about it.” The man said.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t share my info with people I don’t know.” The girl said as she F7’ed at him.
The man laughed, “I’m afraid that you’re coming with me. . .” The man grabbed the girl.
“Let go of me!” The girl hesitated.
She tried to back off, but the man was stronger than her.

Back to the curse doll marathon. .. . . . .. .

We used every single ounce of our energy. We laid down on the ground.
“So. . .. h-how many c-curse dolls do you have?” I looked at Rose.
Rose gasped for air, “………………499. . . you….???”
“. . . . .. .. .. 499… . . . ..” Whenever I talk my chest would hurt.
I was breathing very fast. I was really tired.
“One……. more. . .. . .. . .. .” Rose whispered.

Moments later a flower came right in my face. No, it wasn’t thrown. >_>
I looked at Rose. She was slightly blushing.
I laughed, “What’s this?”
Rose smiled, “Promise me. . . . That we’ll be friends forever.”
I laughed again, “Enough joking.”
Rose gave me an F7, “Hey I’m serious.
“Hahaha. You don’t have to ask, Rose. Of course we’ll be friends forever.” I smiled.
I looked at Rose. I never saw her this happy before.
“Promise.. . ..” We both said as I grabbed the flower.
Just then, A curse doll fell right next to us.
We looked at each other and laughed.
There was a short pause.
We both quickly reached for it but we heard a loud scream.
Rose turned around, “What was that?”
I quickly grabbed the doll while she was distracted, “HAH! I WIN! HAHAHAHHAHA! GIMMIE ALL UR MONEY!!!!”
The scream continued.
“Ryan, I think we gotta check this out.” Rose became worried.
“What about the 1000 curse doll quest?” I asked.
“We’ll worry about that later. Someone needs our help.”

We quickly went out of the tree and saw a brown haired girl getting attacked by 3 men.
“Tell us about that door!!!” The man commanded.
The girl said nothing.
“Tell us!! Before you get hurt!!” Another man said.
The girl glared at the three.
“Not saying anything, huh?” Another one said, “Then I guess we’ll have to deal this the hard way!”
The man raised his axe and it was about to hit that girl.
The girl ducked and hoping it would miss, but this was a one clear shot. . . .
I decided to act quickly and firmly.
I threw a tobi at the man’s arm. The man dropped his axe to the ground and he fell to the ground. He started to moan and scream.
I threw numerous stars at his body until the man dropped dead.
The girl opened her eyes and stared at me.
The other two men stared at me as well.
“What the hell????” one of them said.
“How dare you do that to our brother! You shall die as well!!” The other man said.
Both of them began to charge at me with their heavy axes.
I looked at their status. Lvl 24 and lvl 22.
“Tsk, tsk tsk. . . . . . .” I said slowly as I threw a tobi at one of them.
Rose charged at them and did heavy blows that marked their skin.
Each tobi I threw at them digged into their dark skin.
The men tried to strike us with their axes but they would miss due to our incredible speed.
“Too easy!” I said as I threw a lucky seven at one of them.
Rose did her savage blow on the other. The two men fell down.
“All’s well that ends well. . . .” I spat on the ground.

After the quick fight we walked up to the girl to see if she was okay.
“You alright?” I reached for her hand.
The girl put her hand in mine as I pulled her up. “Thanks. . . . .” The girl said.
She had long brown hair and stunning blue eyes. She was beautiful.
“uhhhhhh no problem.” I said.
“What’s your name?” She asked.
“Young Ryan. . … .er I mean! Ryan Young. What’s yours?” I asked.
She giggled and said, “My name’s Kate. Nice to meet you.”
“Ahem. . . .” Rose tugged me back into the tree.

“Hey hey hey! What’s wrong?” I asked.
“We still have our job to do!” Rose snapped at me.
“Let’s see. . . . we have 999/1000 curse dolls. Wow. Time flies when you’re having fun.” I said.
“Ugh. . . Sure.” Rose said as she grabbed the last curse doll.
“You owe me all your mesos. . . . . .” I quietly said.

As we got out of the tree Rose glanced at Kate, “Sorry ‘Kate’, but we need to get back to Henesys.” Rose was grabbing me.
“Uh, sure! Have fun you two!” She called.
“Aw, come on, Rose. Can’t we just say hi a little longer?” I said.
“Ryan, I would really love to, but we’re late.” Rose said as she grabbed me to Henesys.
“Ow ow ow!” I felt the pain of Rose grabbing me by the ear.
