A month passed ever since I left Henesys. I was already qualified as an assasin. I walked back and thought about what the Dark Lord said to me

“You are now dismissed. I shall no longer teach you for you have learned the ways of the Thief.” smiled the Dark Lord.

I looked at him blankely, “But I’m not as strong as you…. am I??”

The Dark Lord laughed, “Of course not. However, my job is only to teach rookies like you the baby steps of the Hermit and the Cheif Bandit. There is another wiseman much more stonger than me. He calls himself Alec. He lives in the cabins of El Nath. You’ll see when you get there. But for now, you will have to teach yourself of the Assasin. When you think you’re ready go to Alec and he will see if you have what it takes to be a Hermit.”

I bowed down respectfully, “Thank you so much!”

The Dark Lord closed his eyes and began to sleep again, “Don’t mention it.”

‘Alec’ I said in my thought. ‘The name sounds awfully familiar…’

Hours passed, I finally made it to Henesys. I can’t wait to see Kate and tell her that I’m an assasin.

Then in Mushroom Park, I saw Kate surrownded by a gang of people in dark cloaks.

“RYAAAN!!!” Kate cried.

‘What’s going on!??!’ I quickly ran to them but then one of the gang members stopped me.

“Who’re you supposed to be?” He picked up his Kage.

“…” I didn’t know what to do. I’m out-numbered and I can’t even take down one of these guys.

There were 4 men. One carried a serpent’s tongue, one carried a Geta, another carried a Ryden, and the other carried a Kage.

I stood there. Kate was sobbing. I looked down to my measly Kumbi stars. Then with all my force I ran up to the one with the Kage and threw my Kumbi as fast as I could. The spearman blocked it.

“Leave this fool to me.” He gave me an evil smile.

All the anger inside of me came out of control. I rushed towards him and jumped. I threw my star at him. It only hit his steel helmet which only made a scratch.

He laughed, “Fool, You think those toys would kill me?” He got in a weird stance, “Enough foolin’ around.” He rushed towards me, yelling at the same time. He tried to slash me, but I dodged it. He did some Power Strikes but I dodged them all. However, all the dodging made me tired. I threw another Kumbi but it fell on his spear, whcih gave enough time for the spearman to slash me. I quickly hasted myself and tried to jump away, but my chest got slashed. I was bleeding. Kate was crying, “Ryan! I’m sorry that I got you in this! Please don’t die.”

I was still covered in pain. When the spearman was about to unleash his last attack, a sword blocked it.

“You think you can handle him alone?” a familiar voice said. It was that same boy with the blue hair. He killed that golem in one blow.

“What??” the spearman gasped.

“Time to finish this now, fool!” He ran fast and squng his long sword at him. The spearman blocked the attacks while stepping back. Then his spear fell in the air. The blue haired boy made a final thrust through his chest. The spearman fell down to the ground.

I could only watch, for I was in no shape for fighting. He came up to me, “Are you ok?”

I tried to get up, but I saw the spearman rushing behind the blue haired boy. I used my specialty, Lucky Seven, which finished him off.

The other men in the cloaks were impressed, and a little frightened at the same time. They dissapeared and left Kate. Kate ran up to me and gave me a kiss.

She cried, “Are you ok? I’m really sorry that I got you in this.”

I couldn’t see anything. Everything was dizzy… My eyes were slowly closing. Then I dropped.
