“What are you doing here?!” Shouted Aaron as he walked into the kitchen where we were eating breakfast.

“I live here, remember?” I replied without even turning to him.

“Lily, you’re not really going to let this Hacker live here, are you?” he asked wildly.

“Michael doesn’t really have anywhere else to go.” Lily said trying to calm him down.

“He’s a Hacker! They’re all bad!” Aaron argued.

“Hey. If you got a problem with me let’s take it outside.” I said getting up from the table. “Ly please bring my stuff.” Ly brought my Deadly Fin, Korean Fan, and Seclusion Wrist-guard from my room. I slipped my Korean Fan into its sheath which was tied around my arm near my shoulder. I put on my Seclusion Wrist-guard and grabbed my Deadly Fin. Aaron slipped on his Sapphire Gigantic and we both walked outside. Ly and Lily came out, too.

“This is so stupid. You guys act like immature kids.” Lily complained.

“This’ll be over soon.” I said.

“First drop of blood wins?” Aaron asked.

“Fine.” I agreed.

Then we started. Aaron started off with Shadow Partner. He started to use Lucky 7 but I deflected them with Savage Blow. Aaron’s attacks were still strong but I felt as if they had slowed down. Or maybe I got faster. As the fight continued neither of us got a hit.

He jumped into the air and used Avenger. Two giant stars flung at me I grabbed some Mesos and threw them into the air. Instantly a golden shield appeared in front of me as I used Meso Guard. The stars bounced away as they collided with the shield. I grabbed some more Mesos and threw them at the ground using Meso Explosion. Dust clouds rose around me, concealing me in their shadows.

I quickly used Dark Sight and slowly walked out of the dust cloud. I saw Aaron peer straight into the cloud. This was my chance. I released Dark Sight and jumped onto him. He tried to struggle but couldn’t attack me at this angle. He skillfully dodged all my attacks. This isn’t working! Every single one of my attacks hadn’t done anything.

I thought about this as I kept slashing at him. Wait! That’ll work! I quickly put my plan into action as I kept attacking.

“Get away!” Aaron shouted as he used Shadow Web. I jumped back as I dodged the sticky trap.

“Aaron, give up. I win.” I declared.

“I guess Hackers aren’t that very smart!” he shouted as grabbed a couple stars. He made to throw them at me but dropped them. He shouted in pain. He had just exploded. He hadn’t really exploded like blast apart but his clothes were torn and blood was dripping. I had won.

“How?” he mouthed as he fell on his back.

“I just hid some Mesos in your clothes when you were too busy dodging and then I just used Meso Explosion.” I explained. I dug my Deadly Fin into the ground and leaned against it. This battle had worn me out a lot. If I hadn’t been a Cleric before I wouldn’t have been able to use so much energy.

I walked over to Aaron and started to Heal him. I was glad I could still use my Cleric skills. He soon regained consciousness. I extended a hand to help him up. He just slapped it away. I sighed.

I felt something slash my side. Blood splashed out. I fell to my knees as I started to Heal my side.

“You don’t seem that strong.” A voice sneered. On a branch of the tree outside Lily’s house a Spearman with a Serpent’s Tongue was sitting down.

“Who are you?” I asked grabbing my Deadly Fin after I had finished healing.

“Luke said you’re supposed to be strong, but you’re just a weakling.” He said. Luke?!

“Where’s Jane?!” I shouted.

“Beat me and I’ll tell you.” He said grabbing his Serpent’s Tongue.

I grabbed some Mesos and threw them at him. The Mesos blew up the tree but he wasn’t anywhere to be found. I looked around everywhere.

“Looking for me?” he asked. I turned to find him right behind me. He slashed my chest and I was thrown backwards. I quickly got up and used Assaulter but he was already gone.

“You won’t catch me with that speed.” He said. “If you haven’t noticed I’m a hacker with the power of ‘speed’. You won’t even be able to hit me.” He disappeared again. Crap!

“Ly!” I shouted as I heard him scream. His back was opened up and blood was pouring. He fell to the ground and didn’t move. I ran to him but felt the Hacker’s spear slash my arm. I hurriedly tried to find him, but there was nothing, not even a blur.

“Michael!” Lily yelled.

“Stay where you are or she dies.” The Hacker said holding his spear to her neck. I tried to run forward but he inched his spear to her neck and I froze in my tracks.

“Get off her!” Aaron’s voice boomed. Stars rained upon the Hacker. He let go of Lily and disappeared again.

“Lily, are you ok?” I asked as I rushed to her. But I stopped when I heard Aaron scream. The Hacker had his spear stuck into Aaron’s chest. The Hacker started to move the spear around as blood streamed out. Aaron’s hands started to move forward and they grabbed the Hacker’s arm. The Hacker tried to shake him off but it didn’t work.

“Michael! Now!” Aaron shouted. I used Hate and rushed forward. The Hacker managed to shove Aaron away but it was too late. I used Savage blow on his arms and legs to immobilize him.

“Now where’s Jane?” I hissed bringing my dagger to his face. I heard someone clapping behind me. I saw it was Luke.

“Excellent. You defeated him faster then I thought you would’ve.” Luke said.

“Master!” The Hacker called out.

“I have no need for you now that I know Zero’s new strength.” Luke said menacingly. “Michael now finished him off!”

“Luke!” I shouted. I started to run towards Luke. I saw him raise his blade and slash the air in front of him. A screamed pierced the air. I turned to see a slash mark on the Hacker’s body. He started to twitch as he screamed out in pain.

“You’re really annoying.” Luke said as he stabbed the air. The Hacker grew silent with one last scream.

“You……How could you do that? He was you’re comrade!” I shouted. Although he was my enemy how could Luke do such a thing?

“Comrade?” Luke started to laugh. “He was just a tool and nothing more. I used him, he broke, so I had no more need of him.”

“Is that what Jane is to you also?” I asked. “A tool?!”

“She’s more useful then the dead guy behind you but yes. She is a tool.” Luke said.

“I’LL KILL YOU!” I shouted. I Teleported behind him and brought my Deadly Fin forward. Luke turned just in time to guard my attack, but I wasn’t finished yet. With my free hand I reached for my Korean Fan and used Pickpocket. I jumped away as Mesos started to form around Luke.

“DIE!” I screamed as I used Meso Explosion. The whole area around him disappeared in the explosion. Smoke filled the air. I stared into the smoke looking for him.

I saw the tip of his Blue Screamer lunge out of the smoke. I jumped back but his Hacker powers still hit me. I hit away his sword with my dagger and used Band of Thieves. Six Bandit Guardians appeared around him and stared to attack him. But he quickly slashed the air using Slash Blast and they all disappeared in a puff of smoke as they were struck.

His used Coma and slashed open the arm I was holding the Deadly Fin with. I dropped the dagger. I tried to move but couldn’t. He placed his blade near my face. He stared at me and pulled his blade back. He grabbed my Deadly Fin and hurled it into the air. He used Shout on it. It shattered. The pieces lodged into the ground.

“I won’t kill you. You’ll make a good puppet for Dot.” He said. “Now for the GM.” He turned and started to walk towards Lily. Lily tried to raise her Kage against him but he kicked it away. He raised his sword ready to strike.

“Stop!” I shouted. I broke free of the paralysis and whipped out my Korean Fan. I rushed forward and slashed at Luke. Our weapons clashed.

“How…?” he breathed. I was shocked, too. My Korean Fan become a Dragon’s Tail. I took the chance of Luke being distracted and knocked his sword away. He kept a grip on it but I kept slashed at him. Every blow was blocked by him but I kept pushing him back. He was about to use Shout but I Teleported away.

“You’re too much trouble. I’ll just kill you!” He shouted. He slashed at the air. I immediately used Meso Guard but it still hit me. I was knocked back onto the ground. I got up.

“You’re not the only Hacker here!” I shouted. I raised my left hand and used vac. Dust and scattered leaves started to fly towards my hand. They all stopped in front of my palm and lay there suspended. Luke started to slide closer to me. I saw his grip on his Blue Screamer started to loosen. Without his blade he can’t use his ceasx. I saw a smile. I ignored it as a blur and strengthened my power. He was fighting against the force of my vac but it kept drawing him nearer.

He slipped and started to fly towards me. As he came closer he faced me.

“You lose!” he shouted. He stabbed his blade into my hand. He then pulled out a syringe full of Ban and shot it into my arm. My vac stopped working as he pulled the blade out. I pulled the syringe out and threw it at the floor.

“Ban’s flowing in your viens.. You’re Hacker days are gone. Now die.” He said raising his blade. I quickly slashed at him but he jumped away. He started to come at me again. I jumped forward and used Assaulter and managed to slash his arm open. He grabbed his bleeding arm.

“Master!” a voice shouted. It was a small girl.

“Dot, I don’t need help.” Luke said.

“Don’t worry Master. Jane take him!” Dot commanded. Jane flew towards Luke and helped him up. She avoided my eyes as she flew away.

“Jane!” I shouted after her. She just ignored me and flew on.

“How dare you hurt Master!” Dot shouted. She snapped her fingers. Suddenly hundreds of people started to surround us. They were all of different classes but they all had no weapons and there eyes were white.

“Puppets attack!” she shouted. The people started to run towards us. I raised my dagger in preparation to attack.

“Wow! I get to watch the Legendary Zero kill innocent people!” Dot shouted excitedly. Innocent people?

“Michael! Don’t kill them. She’s controlling them! I’ve met her before. She’s a Hacker and she uses the power of ‘hacked’. It let’s her control people if they write their name in her scroll!” Lily shouted from behind me. Scroll? I stared at the girl and saw a giant scroll tied to her back.

“I guess I’ll just have to destroy her scroll!” I aid confidently. I ran towards the crowd of people. They all grabbed at me but I pushed them all away.

“There’s too many of them.” I gasped as I Teleported back to Lily. “Lily can you contain them?”

“I’ll try.” She grabbed her Kage and started to use Slow and Seal. It stopped the crowd a little bit. I Teleported to the roof of Lily’s house. I put down my Dragon’s Tail which immediately transformed back into my Korean Fan when I let go of it. I used Holy Arrow and aimed at Dot’s scroll.

I closed one eye and aimed carefully. I didn’t want to kill a little girl. After making sure it was the best aim I could get I released the arrow. The arrow flew over the heads of the crowd. The arrow came toward Dot. She raised her hands to brace the impact but it never came. The arrow had dissipated before it had reached her scroll.

I punched the tiles on the roof. If only I had a little more range.

“Get up.” A voice gasped behind me. It was Aaron. “I can get you about one-thirds of a way closer but the aim and the shot is all you. You better not miss. You got one shot.” I just stared at him.

“Come on! I’m about to lose consciousness here!” He shouted. He grabbed the back of my shirt and started to use Flash Jump. It felt like flying with Jane. I pushed her out of my mind. I need complete concentration for this shot.

“This is my limit. Good luck.” Aaron whispered. He used one last Flash Jump and threw me a little higher. He flew towards the ground as was I. I quickly used Holy Arrow and took aim.

I wasn’t 100% sure on the aim but if I didn’t release it now I wouldn’t be able to shoot again unless I fought through the crowd which was near impossible without killing them.

“Please make it!” I shouted as I released the arrow. It rocketed towards Dot. She shut her eyes but it didn’t hit her. It struck the scroll on her back. It fell off her back and started to catch on fire. She tried to put it out but it was too late. The scroll turned to ashes. The crowd suddenly dropped to the ground.

I hit the ground. I looked at where Dot was but she was gone. My body was burning as I felt the over-use of my energy take its toll on me.

I breathed deeply as Lily came over to me.

“Michael!” she cried. She started to hug me.

“Sorry but I’m kind of tired.” I whispered as she continued to hug me. I rested for a moment with her in my arms.

“We don’t have time for kisses. Come on you guys. We got things to do.” Aaron said dragging himself to us. We both blushed and quickly got up.
