In truth, as to what was said in a post before mine about honest, good maplers. There are few left… Very few. Though, not many people look for them, or in turn, someone catches them while they are afk or having a bad day. Me for example, I rarely every have a bad day, in fact, I have a great day most of the time. I love helping people out, even if you are a newb, I’m there to aid you. Heck, I got a friend to level faster than me before because of the sole fact that he never had to worry about monsters killing him. But enough of the simple history, now comes the truths of why I made this post.

Example 1:
People always hear about another persons luck and all. Well, lonely little me when I first made my Cleric, Ikizen, he was a meager little level 15 when I was starting to get outragious drops. My once poor account was totaled to over 30mil meso. How was this? It was odd how it all began. I was in Ellinia and in one of the trees beating up on Horned and Green Mushrooms in dire search for a panlid. Yet, to the lack of my knowledge at the time, Zeco’s and various other items were of extreme value to those around. I never knew this while I was hunting my panlid down. Constantly beating up on them, I found several zeco’s, a couple mythril polearms and a ton more that became the want of many people. But the first Zeco I found, a warrior happened to run past me with a spear. He F5’d me as he looked at me and my meager level and picking it up. I smiled at him and asked him if he wanted it. He screamed enthusiasticly “Yes” to I smiled once more and said “Here” and dropped it for him and walked off. At first the guy didn’t pick it up because no one else was there, but after he noticed that I had ran off, he picked it up and followed me, only to see 3 more drop in a matter of an hour. Yet again, he F5’d me and asked me how I was getting such great drops. In truth, not even I know how I got the drops, but it was my first cleric ever making, all my others were thiefs and assassins. In turn, he got a feww Zeco from a person who knew not the value of them in GMS (seeing that JMS, a Zeco is CHEAP).

Example 2:
On a prior account on GMS, I had a high level assassin, roaming around and killing stuff was all I really did, looting only the money and potions I found. Lone and behold, a lower level character was following behind, looting everything else that I hadn’t picked up. In time, he asked me if I had any items for him at all, I smiled and dropped every piece of gear that I picked up for his class and told him to take them. My inventory was full, I had over 9mil meso on me and I hadn’t a need to sell them because I was never going to make an archer. 😀 I dropped him a total of 2mil worth of equipment.

Example 3:
Before selling one of my accounts, I played on it for a little while and had a couple of items that I thought I had sold. They weren’t listed on the site I had posted it at, so I thought, “screw it, I need to ditch these or something..” so I walked into Henesys and saw a lonely little newb and walked up to him, smiled and requested a trade with him. He opened the trade and I dropped him an above average Korean Fan, a Maple Flag, an above average Zard (+7 – 4 10% and 3 60%) and about 1000 white potions for free. The newb smiled and screamed with glee at what he had gotten, saying only a few things before I left, “I’m going to be a warrior because of that sword” and the one thing that had touched my heart more than anything, “You’re the nicest person I’ve ever met, I am glad to have met someone so kind”. With his words, I dropped him a million meso and exited the game, only to come back on a different character to see him still smiling and jumping around.

It is the kindness I show people in Maple Story that make me smile and give me a sence of pride in what I do and how I am. Though, god forbid, I can’t get a girlfriend in real life with how I am.. ROFL.. Sorry had to toss the random truth about my real life in there. Heck, I’m 23 and in the US Navy. 😀
