OK the 4th Memoir. Read 1 – 3 to know whats going on.

Shadow sat there with the wind blowing against his face. He had just got onto Jake and was now heading for the nearest town, Geffen to become a Mage like his mother and old father. Shadow had agreed upon his new name that Jake had suggested and know he needed new clothes. Jake looked back at him and called “Hey, I can see the Wizard temple down there!” “Ok head in a little North of it.”

Shadow said patting Jake’s head. Jake swooped down and came in for a landing, Shadow watched as 4 rhoda frogs scampered away frightened. He smirked, “fear, hate, destruction” he thought to himself. He walked to Jake head and said “One second i’m going to go do something” Then he walked to where the rhoda frogs were.

Shadow took out his combat knife and cut 2 of the rhoda frogs in half and slitting the other one’s throat. The last one jumped away before Shadow could reach it. He grinned, “Hehe that was fun” watching them disapear into the ground. He walked back to Jake and said, “Wait here it won’t be long” then he was off.

He walked wuick and silently through the forest to the gate of Geffen. There were 2 guards on post. He walked through the gates without them stopping him. He looked around for the mage guild.

He saw it a little to the right and walked over to it. The assistant smiled and said “Welcome” he just ignored her and walked in. Inside he saw the mixing machine and about 7 or 8 mages. He walked around the mixing machine and to the head guildsmember.

He bowed and said, “I have come to become a mage” she replied, “Your task is a simple one, you must get 6 jellopy and 1 fluff and mix them in the mixing machine over there, then you must give what you get to me” “If it is good you pass, if it’s wrong then you must do it again or quit” Then she bowed and pointed to the bookshelf to her left. “Your task is in chapter 3 of the book of chemistry” then she walked into the back room. He walked to the bookshelf and took out the chemistry book and read chapter 3, his combination read “2750”. He closed the book, opening his backpack and looking through it for 6 jellopy and 1 fluff.

He saw 6 jellopy but no Fluff. He groaned, “Dangit i needa kill a Fabre” then he closed his backpack and walked out the door into the bright sunny day. He walked down the stairs and into another person. “Woah kid, watchout!” he said.

Shadow apologized and stepped around him. “Hey kid! whats your name?” The person asked Shadow. Shadow just muttered, “Shadow” then kept walking. The other person ran up in front of Shadow and stopped him.

“C’mon you want some help training?” he asked. “Umm… no” Shadow cutly replied. “Woah calm down kid! i”ll help you! C’mon i wanna! it’ll be fun” He said grabbing Shadow’s shirt from the back. Shadow whipped around taking out his combat knife and cutting the man’s arm, “I said, no” Shadow said with a evil look.

The man ripped his arm back. “Well by the way, i’m MagusJewel, call me Magus please” Magus said. “Does it look like i care?” Shadow said putting away his knife and walking through the gates, “Call me if you need my help! my number is 482-5468” but Shadow was already out of sight. Magus sighed and walked back into the weapon shop.

Shadow walked through the froest again, “Dangit i didn’t get my armour because of that stupid Magus guy!” He turned around and kicked a Fabre in the face. He shook at the sight of it blistering over his shoe. He looked around in the remains for a fluff and found it. He groaned, “Great… back into town!” He rushed back into town dodging Magus.

He reached the mixing machine and put everything in it. He pressed the button and it all mixed and cut. He sighed and waited for a few minutes until it beeped and a little tube came out with green liquid inside. He picked it up and gave it to the mage guildsman.

She smiled and said “Congratulations, you passed the test!” then gave him new armour and cast a spell on him. He felt some of his fat disapear along with some of his strenght. He smiled and bowed, he put on his new robes. “Know i just need to paint them black and a mask” he thought to himself.

He walked out of the mage guild building and saw that the weapon shop was just down the stairs. He walked down them and went into the portal. He went to the desk and asked, “Hey do you have black paint?” the clerk replied, “No sorry but you should try the trader or the potion shop down the street, they might have it” “Ok thanks, know can i see if you have any black masks?” he asked the clerk. “Well we do have one, but it’s on order, you could buy it for more than the person ordered it for” the clerk replied.

“OK how much did he order it for?” Shadow asked. “Lets see here…hmmhmm…he ordered it for 700 Zeny” “Oh ok i’ll pay 1,000 Zeny for it” Shadow said smiling. “It’s yours!” The clerk said handing him the mask. Shadow smiled that it was almost the same that he had wanted.

He walked out of the shop and down the street. He saw the potion shop and went in. There were 3 people in it, a magician shop, potion shop and a trader. He walked up to the traders desk and asked, “Do you have any black paint?” The trader replied, “Yes sir we do” “How much for 2 cans?” Shadow asked.

“500 Zeny per can so 1,000 Zeny please” She replied. He opened his wallet and took out 1,000 Zeny and put it on the desk. She did the same but just with the 2 cans of paint. He smiled and said thank you then left the store.

He walked up the stairs and into the forest. He quickly sped his way through and found the clearing where Jake was. He smiled and patted Jake on the back, “I found it all, and i’m a mage” Shadow said smiling. Shadow took off his robes and placed them on the ground.

He took the can of paint and poured it onto the robe. The robe instantly turned black. He smiled then put it on a tree to dry but for some reason, the paint wasn’t wet. He shook his head wondering why it wasn’t wet.

He put on the robe and took the mask out of his backpack. He slowly put on the mask. When it was on he looked at Jake and found something different about himself. He wanted revenge for his family and the only way he was going to do that was train and level up then finally, Verse the man who killed his mom and half of his dad.
