Well as most of you know, maple weapons were released about a week ago. The one that particularly caught my eye was the Maple Scorpio, being a Pole Arm user. +30 accuracy is being godly for any warrior out there. The first three days after the patch was purely spent hunting for maple weapons without much luck, mostly wild boars (for their wide variety of maple drops) and Jr. Neckis (only confirmed monster to drop maple scorpio).

After the first three days, I ended up with a few random drops (jangoon skirt, coconut dagger, and other low level equips) and EIGHT pairs of weighted earrings. I racked up over 1200 Jr. Necki skins that I am still currenly trying to vend. During the hunt for the maple scorpio, I befriended a level 5X I/L mage that trained on Crocos quite often. With me killing the neckis down low and him killing the crocos up top, it worked out quite well in helping the spawn for both of us.

After the constant hunting, I got extremely tired of it so I headed to Ludi to PQ for a few days. After 50% or so from PQing, I was rather disappointed to hear that the I/L mage had actually found a maple scorpio while I was in Ludi, but was selling it for 4m, which was about four times as much as I’d pay for one. With new found determination, I set off for Victoria Island to hunt again about three hours ago. 250 skins and one brown piettra later, I retired for the night.

It’s going to be a long month..
