Four thirty in the morning. The warrior sighed, clicking closed her pocket watch. She took a deep breath, loving the morning air of El Nath. The crisp smell of snow still lingered in her senses as she entered her camp.
It was a small camp, only four tents were pitched, but it wasnt sponsored by anything. Two tents served as rooms, one served as a mess hall, the fourth served as a research center. She entered the mess hall, preparing a breakfast for her soon to be partner. They were coming today.
The breakfast was nothing special, just some heated Jr. Pepe meat. Not much you could make in a tiny camp just outside of the wolf territories. But the warrior was overjoyed at the fact that she would finally be studying the animals with someone else, instead of alone. Its not like the Hectors, White Pangs, and occasional Werewolf or Lycanthrope held conversations with her.
The warrior finished her preparations, setting them on the mat she used as a table. She then stood, stretched for the first time that morning, and stepped from the tent to wait outside for her new companion.
They took about ten minutes, but when they arrived, it was worth it. At first, she thought the figure was a werewolf. She had even shot for her notepad and pen to draw it. But as it approached, she realized it was a hulking human.
The person had huge shoulders. They were broad and heavy set, like they were walking to intimidate the warrior. They had extensively long, white, hair flowing in an oncoming breeze to the left. The pirate set revealed them to be a follower of the Dark Lord. The Nine Dragons confirmed them as a bandit. The eyes were an alluring brown, but almost black, like they were clouded, lost in thought. The skin was a ghostly pale, like if you were to touch it, youd freeze.
The person was a male. As he approached, he smiled, revealing glistening white, straight teeth.
Hello, he said, his voice a flowing deep, Im Jeremy. I assume youre Crystal?
Oh ah, yes, Im Crystal. Nice to meet you, Jeremy, said the warrior, curtseying for the fun of it.
Jeremy smiled, getting on one knee. He took her right hand and kissed it softly. Indeed, he breathed, causing Crystal to shudder slightly.
She pulled her hand back, and Jeremy stood. He must have been at least a full foot taller than she, and she had to look up when speaking to him.
So, Jeremy, Ive prepared some breakfast for us noted Crystal, motioning towards the mess tent.
Jeremy stood, then bowed. Thank you, Crystal. How considerate.
Crystal sighed. This guy would DEFINITELY be annoying to live with for six months… or maybe… hm.
No one really submitted anything to the contest. -shrug- I thought you’d have fun with it. Guess not.
Anyway, here’s the prologue! I got my laptop back! :3
Yes? No? May-beh-so? I don’t really like this story. I dunno. :/
I don’t either, but why did you make this then?
I dunno. :<
Eh, it’s okay. But I liked that other story better.
Yeah, but I now hate ATWBMH with a passion. So annoying.
How is it annoying?
I dunno. It felt like too much of a responsibility.
>.O That’s not nice. . .
I think you could’ve done better on the names. But that’s about it. XDXD
I know. I couldn’t think of the names. At all. D:
I have my names all planned out for Lost in the Shadows 2 lol. But that’s not coming out for a while. This story has a good title, but not so good content.
-=The Nazgul=-
*Slaps Eden!*
That was very un-nice! >.O
I saw the second chapter before the first, so I kinda got confuzzled. “:<
But, it’s great nonetheless! A great book! ^_^
Keep it up! ^_^
