Too late indeed, as the Fire Ore connected with the hard ground surface of the Altar, Zakum had risen. Me and Rose were immediately knocked back, her into a state of concussion. I picked myself up from the ground hesitantly, My mind racing. I knew there was nothing else I could do know, besides fight.

I tossed Rose’s fathers Ilbis at Zakums arms at immense speed, they seemed to be having no effect. *Gulp* If I was to have any chance of saving my life I needed to act quick. If I was to have any chance of saving Roses life I needed to act quicker, if she died I’d have nothing to live for. That was it, I dashed over to a reasonably safe point in the room and begin to attack with all of my might.

I felt alot stronger and faster, knowing Rose was in danger, it’s as if I had a 6th Sense, I knew to dodge the attacks before Zakum even performed them. Rose however, who had just regained consciousness, was whimpering, crawling into a corner slowly. It was at that moment in time when I lost hope. I just took down Zakums 8th Arm, leaving me with 3 Forms of his body left to defeat. All of a sudden, Zakum performed a magic attack, a jagged ice spear plunged deep within Roses chest, I knew she had no chance of survival.

Crawling into the corner, It occured to me, I was in the same situation as the man in my dream, all that time ago. No hope, I was supper. I decided to spend my last moments of life next to Rose, I clutched her arm, trying to wake her. It was no use, she was dead. A jolt of electricty surged through me, I felt the energy drain from my limbs, Zakum was killing me slowly. That was it for sure, I was at the edge of death and began to close my eyes..

When all of a sudden, a heavenly bright light made me wince. I looked around, and there he was, the man from my dream. “Please!” I exclaimed at the top of my lungs “Just save me..” He came close to me, but seemed to pay no attention. The speed he was travelling at was much superior to what I am capable of, the attacks he performed on Zakum seemed to be alot more effective to.

The ground shook tremendously, Zakum let out a humongous roaring sound, whilst crumbling down to the ground. It was at the last second of Zakums life, when the legendary claw, Casters came from its mouth. I looked up at the man from my dream, he just smiled. His eyes seemed to be so familiar. ‘Wait a second,’ I thought to myself.. ‘He has the same eyes as Rose.’ The man from my dreams was Roses father.

With all of the currect occurances, I’d forgot about Rose, she was dead. My lip begin to tremble, my eyes filling up with tears.
“Hey kid, don’t sweat it,” Said Roses Father “Watch this.” He winked at me, 2 Angelic wings appeared, one from each of his shoulders, a strange beam of light went from him to Rose. She begin to clamber to her feet. But before she was able to see her father he had gone. I heard his voice in my head “Kid, take care of her. Tell her I’ll always love her and that we will one day be reunited, my spirit lives on in the two of you.” The message warmed my heart.

I picked up the Casters from Zakums crumbled body, and began helping Rose to her feet.
She looked at me blankly, “Subi.. what’s happened? Are you OKa..”
I stopped her, putting my finger on her lip.
“Just be quiet for now,” I said “It’s a long story but you can be sure you’ll hear all about it.”
We walked onwards, right back to Perion, climbing to the highest point of the town.
And there we sat, watching the sunset.
