Ever wonder why we never got those 2x EXP cards till late in the game while Maple Europe and Maple Sea got it in their early stages? How offical Taiwan Maple Story has 11+ servers and forth job, not to mention uber cash items released sometimes even before Korean Maple Story? How Maple Sea got EVERYTHING before Global did and they started AFTER Global? Note Taiwan Maple Story also started after Global and they are face to face with JMS. The only thing exclusive for us is New Maple city, and it isn’t even that amazing compared to the Singaporean Maps, Taiwan 101 tower, and what not. I mean the Taiwan 101 tower has new hair styles and new bosses. What do we get in New Leaf City? Yeah we got the oh so famous Emo hair (which is now over rated.) but did we get any new bosses? No. Any intresting monsters? I mean an elephant blowing out fire…(IT’S OVER 9000) A killer plant… A machine spider… == a bee… The singaporean map also has that uber captain ghost boss.
The Majority of players in Global Maple Story come from the USA. NXjoew uses sleepwood.net .
When we didn’t get any patches, we complain. When we get new cash items we complain. New maps? Complain. Double EXP cards were called hacks without the hacks. We complained it was too expensive and etc. NXjoew said himself if most of the players stop complaining about SMALL and SIMPLE crud, we’d have more things. Not sure where it says that but there is a quoate about it.
4th job, DREAM ON It’s not going to come out for a while. It’s predicted that when we have around MAYBE 10% of the Maple population over level 120. I checked the rankings recently. Rank “1337” in Scania was level like 115 or something. In Mardia it was level 71. Yeah it’s not coming out in A LONG while. Though I know most or maybe all of the MMOTale crew …Family :] does not complain, it still needs to be posted somewhere. Information why we don’t have fancy pants patches like Showa town, pirate PQ etc. :]

Yesterday I PQed some. I leveled up and PQed till 51%. I’m leveling at a steady and faster pace then AaronFTW. I’m sure I can get to level 30 soon. I don’t know why I keep returning to Scania no matter how bad I think it is, no matter how much I insult it, it’s still my favorite server. Though a lot of the cool MMOtalers live in Khaini and Windia… THOSE CURSED SERVERS KILL ME D:

Ok. think: Global is a product of Nexon. maybe they bought out Wizet, or companies merged, or whatever, but it takes Nexon money to
run Global. they gotta pay for the internet service, electrical power to keep the servers running, and they gotta pay for maintenance, and i could go on and on and on. Nexon’s income depends on how much people spend on NX in all of Nexon’s games, and money we pay for cash items is OPTIONAL.
You’re right about maybe only 10% the Maple Global population being over level 120, and thats probably why the 4JA is a long way off here.
My idea why we don’t have as many goodies as MapleSEA, TMS, CMS KMS, JMS, MES, etc is probably there aren’t as many people
completely obsessed with NX items, leveling up, etc in America as there are in Singapore and Asia. I use NX, but i only buy something i ACTUALLY want, i dont go buying all the ‘HOT’ items to make my bandit look fancy or anything.
I heard that before MrYaNdAo was level 200, he was logged in 24/7, with 3 people playing rotating shifts. I’m sure that’s like that for many Asian Maple characters over level 120. talk about obsession haha. You kno, i want to go over to mapleSEA, but it talkes a long time to download, and
because signals from my computer in Vancouver BC go through wireless, cables, satellite signals that stretch thousands of miles from my house
to the servers in Singapore, I get a steady 0.75second lag rate. and of course I cant get A-cash, because when i click on the PayPal payment method
on AsiaSoft, i still have to go through a bunch of credit card verification bullcrap. screw it. real life or warcraft is more exciting haha

Uh, well, MapleStory doesn’t really appeal to that much people in the United States, so maybe that’s why it isn’t updated as fast; less people play it. People in the US are more into Halo, GoW, n’ I dunno, Mortal Kombat.
