Anyways, I disagree with Indigo (and the rest of society) because I feel that emo and goth are categories, not labels. You can’t be rigidly emo, but you can show characteristics that are associated with a certain plot in life and personality. And don’t just rely on your “internet friends;” that’s avoiding the problem. Go out of your way to be social if you’re naturally reserved, but don’t lower your standards for people being your friends.
P.S. Someone always cares about you, even if they’re too shy to show it. Except for jerks, they’re the exception.
