*Sigh* It’s been the longest time since I last wrote a blog… what with school and everything else. But NOW I’ve got a story to tell about one person I made friends with on Sunday the 14th! D<
We both liked to talk about ducks, it was fun and I thought this “person” would make a good friend in the long run. Since only 1 buddy goes on out of my 40 slots, it sounded nice to have 2 people on then. n-n But NOOO! Everything takes a sharp turn and it all spins out of control and CRASHES! Dx
It all began… YESTERDAY! I was browsing around the haunted mansion place thing-a-mabob in NLC then decided to go afk to write down lyrics to a song I liked. :3 OH! Wait, to make this simpler I’ll call my evil friend “Bob”. So when I came back from being afk, Bob was there to greet me! =0
I said Hi, we chatted and then… he tells me that his “friend” was wondering if I’d marry him. Now that I think about it, it sounded obvious that his “friend” was himself when he asked that question. So of course, I’m afraid of marrying in maple because… if you’re married it costs ALOT (in my opinion)!!
Plus, he was like… 30 levels lower than me and I’ve only known him for 4 days. =/ So I told him that I was afraid of commitment and I’d NEVER marry in maplestory! :3 He seemed taken aback, but told me to go to this far corner of the map so others wouldn’t hear us I guess.
That’s when he asked if I would be his gf! GRAWR! I’m completely done with online relationships… so I told him I had one too many bad experiences and I couldn’t be his gf. *Sigh* Then he started crying and saying I hated him, I thought he was joking around when he said that. But eventually his comments turned into insulting and mean ones. ; – ;
BWAH! I sent him a chat invite to ask him why he was acting so sour all of a sudden since… he was normally a chatty, joking person. You know what…? When he asked that question if I would marry him earlier, he was angry saying I made him look like a “noob” in front of everyone. I mean, come on! Those people who listen will probably forget it all anyway since they have better things to do. x[
That’s when he starts cussing at me, calling me the b-word… saying my character’s hair was ugly! ; – ; He did say it was pretty earlier. But he just started the insulting to get me angry I bet. I didn’t play his game so I told him that he shouldn’t be so concerned about someone online rejecting you!
But he just ignored me and said: Moonfire, good bye i hate u.
And went afk. x[ *Sigh* He was such a nice person in the beginning, but I guess you can’t predict what people might act like online. Well, if he does come back saying he’s sorry, I’m not accepting it. Since he was just SOO rude I can’t forgive that. I still have him on my buddy list… but I’m just waiting to see what happens later.
Also, I’d just like to give a thank you to Serenity562 for offering to summon on Bob and kill him. ^^ She was also great to talk to about my situation. Thanks again ser when you get the chance to read this! n-n
*Sigh* I don’t know what I did to make Bob so angry like that. All I did was say I didn’t want to be his gf.
But not in a mean way like: HAHA, no way noob. Oh, nah ur too low lvled. No, I’m too good for you.
I just said: Um…no thanks Bob. I’ve had too many bad encounters with bf’s so I’m not sure about it now.

4 days. ._. Too short of a time to get to know anyone. Unless, of course, that person happens to be cursing everytime you sign on (Personal experience). He’s a moron, just ticked off because he got rejected. Don’t listen to him. =)
I’d help your friend summon on him, if I got my cleric out from under those cobwebs and got it to 40 for those summon bags. =(

I just had a rather similar experience. So I made sure the both of them now think that I shot myself after we got into a fight.

I don’t know you, but aww yeah, I know what you mean. I don’t want to get married on MS because I am particularly afraid of commitment — online, too — and I really dislike it when people I don’t even know or have talked to for only a little while ask me to be their gf ><; But I don’t think people should take Maplestory marriages too seriously.
