I wrote this chapter yesterday. From now on, every chapter will be released every 1-3 days since a friend of mines is saying i’m kind of releasing them too early.. I hope you all enjoy the story.

“Lex… Lex!… Lex!!… Lex!!… LEX!!… LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEX!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!! LEEEEEEEEEEXX HUHAHAhahahaha…”

The voice echoed in my head as I slept. From what was blank dreams became a nightmare. I saw myself standing on a ship deck, looking at what seems to be a monster. I saw the transparent figure with no eyes glide towards me.
“Luuueeeexxxxx”

Blood dripped from its mouth when it said my name in a slow and haunting voice. It slowly pulled its arm upward, getting ready to grab my body.
“LUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXXXX”

I was stunned. I just stood there as the transparent figure approached me. Before it touched me, my nightmare changed. I was in a cold field stained white with grey skies and blue icicles floating. The ground was hard to see because it was covered in a freezing mist. I looked straight ahead and saw a female in a hooded robe.
“Lex…”
She came close to me and I started waking towards her. When we got close enough, we hugged.
“Lex… I’ve… missed you…”
”I’ve missed you too… my… belov–“
With that instant my lips touched her lips. I slowly move my head back and looked at her. My hands reached up to remove her hood but it was too late. Haruki was shaking my body to wake me up and Milkshake was helping by jumping on me.
”Onii-chan!! Wake up!!!”
”Lex, Wake up!! Kyuu~!!”
Tai came from the mouth of the cave then approached me.
”Don’t worry, I got this Haruki!”
”Nooo!! Don’t do it, kyuu!”
Milkshake and Haruki got out of the way, and Tai poured water all over me.
”AHH!! Blech!! *cough cough* *cough* … *cough*” I take a deep breath then say
”Tai… WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!?!?!?!”
”Well, you wouldn’t wake up. We tried waking you up for a long time. It’s already noon!”
”Yeah, onii-chan… We heard you mumble in your sleep and then saying ‘I’ve missed you too’ and kissing the air?” Haruki said with a kind of “Huh” face”
”Oh… Ahrm… Ehehe…. Er…” I said, blushing a bit
”*ahem* It’s nothing! Nothing!!” Everything is fine! Super fine! Fine and dandy! Let’s get a move on!”
Milkshake, Haruki, and Tai watched me as I moved very quickly to brush off the water on my body, then put on my Napoleon, and carrying the three onto the cart.
”Where are we going, kyuu~?”
”We’re going to…Hmm, let me check that sign.”
There was a sign on a tree. It was pointing to a path that seemed used by people who had carts.
”To Ellinia” the sign read.
”There, to ellinia! Let’s go!”
I carried the cart for about 4 hours. As we followed the road, we saw camping grounds that were used just recently. I continued for another hour then got exhausted.
”*huff… huff…* let’s… Take a…. Break…” I said, sitting on the ground.
Luckily, there was a nearby river. So I went over and washed my face. I drank water from my potion bottle and took a sigh. After resting, I continued onward. The whole day I carried the cart with Haruki, Tai, and Milkshake. Haruki and Tai would usually talk to each other once in a while and I would just carry the cart with silence. Milkshake became sad because she thought I was mad.
”Lex? Kyuu~”
”Yes, Milkshake?”
”I just wanted you to know…*muah*” Milkshake kissed me on the cheek and I got mushy. I wasn’t paying attention so I ran straight into a tree.
”Oops… Kyuu~”
”Aahhh… What was that for…”
I backed up the cart and continued on the road. Milkshake felt bad when I ran into the tree, so she hid her face from me under her legs and silently cried. Haruki and Tai didn’t notice because they were talking about their life. I heard a small weep Milkshake let out and I stopped to look at her.
”Milkshake? What’s wrong?”
”*sniff* Nothing… Nothing…”
I opened up a third the top part of my red china and rested her there. She cuddled my chest and smiled. I smiled at her and continued on with the trip. Haruki was becoming restless so she kept asking
”Are we there yet?”
I said “No” and of course, a few minutes later she breaks the silence.
”Are we there yet?”
”No.”
”Are we there yet?”
”Nope.
”Are we there yet?”
”I have no clue.”
”Are we there yet?”
”No…”
”Are we not there yet”
”No….Wait, yes, wait, damn it!”
”Hehehehehe”
”Are we there yet?”
”No…”
”Are there we not yet?”
”No… Wait… No… Wait… Yes… Wait… Ahh, damn it Haruki, cut it out, it’s not funny….”

Haruki and Tai laughed at me while I was pulling the cart with an “Ugh” Face.
I went on alert when I heard the bushes and tree rustle.
”What was that Lex, Kyuu~”
”I think we have company…”
We saw remains of humans and monsters alike, then heard bushes rustling even harder. Eyes shown from the trees and bushes.
”Onii-chan!! I’m scared… Can you run??”
”Yes, I can. Hang on, Milkshake!”
I grabbed the cart and ran quickly. Chasing us, curse eyes jumped out from trees and bushes.
”Onii-chan!!! They’re coming!!!”
I stayed silent and ran faster.
”Don’t worry, Haruki! I got you!”
”What are you doing, Tai??”

Tai pulled out a Fairy Wand then started to cast Magic Claw against the Curse Eyes. He knocked back a few curse eyes making them tumble into one-another. We were out of the Sleepywood jungles and in Ellinia forest.
”Wow Tai! You did awesome!!”
”Hey… I guess I did!”

”Thanks for running us out the forest, Lex… You saved us, Lex… You have incredible speed, Lex” I muttered to myself, looking down at the ground as I dragged the cart. The necklace on my neck had a purple shade of light glowing inside the heart.
”You did awesome, Lex.” Milkshake said. She climbed my neck, licked my cheek then went back into my chest. The heart went from purple to a light pink, then back to clear.
”Kyuu~”

Milkshake eyes met mine and we stared at each other for a bit. I continued our way to Ellinia, but night already fell. I found a nearby stream and a suitable camping ground. Haruki and Tai jumped out of the cart and sat together at a nearby tree. I went out with Milkshake still in my chest to look for some firewood. Finding some wood, I went back to the camp and lit a fire. Roots from the trees made comfortable beds and the vines growing at the trunk made excellent pillows.

”Goodnight, Tai.
”Goodnight, Haruki.”
They both fell asleep aside of each other and I leaned against a tree. Milkshake jumped out of my chest and landed on the ground. I buttoned back up my Red China and continued to lean against the tree and look up at the leaves.

”Lex…Are you okay?”
”Hmm… Hmm? Oh, yeah I’m fine.”
”Oh… okay…”
I picked up Milkshake to hug her and I continued to stare up.
”Lex… You’ll be with me forever… Right?”
”If you wish…”
”I’ll stay by your side… And I’ll always love you… forever… Kyuu…”
Milkshake cuddled me as I held her then fell asleep. Lying on the tree I leaned on, I look up. The Ellinia night was somewhat silent… The stream was rushing silently, the trees rustling against one another as they hug each other, the moon shining its cold light through the trees as much as possible, and the wind silently howling as it blows.
”Kyuu…. Kyuu…”
Milkshake seemed to be having a good dream, so I held her silently upon my chest

The night seemed too ordinary. After a while I slowly fell asleep looking across the stream, waking up relentlessly then falling asleep. After this process went on 5 times, I finally fell asleep. From where I laid, footsteps approached me. I woke up and saw a black shadow. I looked up to make out who it was but…

I was surprised to find a beginner sitting next to me. Then he yelled very loudly

”l13k OMG!!!111oneoneone PR0!!!111oneoneone FR33 PLZ!!!!111oneoneone PLZ!!!111oneoneone PL0X!!!1111oneoneone u g13v m3 fr33z!!!111oneoneone PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!”

The sound of a beginner begging like that was annoying, obnoxious, and very loud. I took out a scroll and handed it to him.

”l13k OMG wh4d4f4h!!!!111oneoneone l13k cool W7H 15 7h15!!11oneone”
”It’s a scroll. You should use it to get riches beyond your wildest dreams.”
In an instant he used the scroll and was teleported to Henesys. That’s probably the last time I’ll see him. I mumbled to myself “Ugh… Why won’t they just train at Henesys…” and laid back against the tree once again.
”Mrr… Lex…? I thought I heard someone…?”
”It was no one…”
Milkshake fell back asleep and I slowly did as well. I stared over at the stream and saw a black figure emerge from the water. It slowly rose. Head… neck… shoulders… back …arms…and legs. I could see that the things head was looking down. It slowly turned around and I saw a substance drop from its face. It looked up with a grin. The moonlight shown on it and I made out what it was. It came once again. The figure had no eyes and its head was tilted to the left. The grin that was on its face disappeared and it opened its mouth to talk. Blood oozed out slowly as it spoke.

“Leeeeexxxxsssshhuuuuhhhh”

I looked at it with confusion put milkshake down near Haruki. I made my way to the same tree I leaned on and I stood there alerted.

“Leeeeexxxxssssuuuuhhhh”

”What do you want? You’ve been appearing everywhere now! Tell me, what it you want is?!?!”

“Leeexxxsuuuuhhhhh….”

After floating over the water, I saw its lifeless body walk towards me slowly. The thing moaned

“Leeeeeeeexxxxssshhhuuuuuuuhhhhhhh”

I pulled out my Wagner and pointed it at it.

“Uuuuuuaaahhhh…. Llllleeeeeexxxxxxxsssshhhuuuuuuhhhh…. “

It was now on land. About 15 feet away, but it was on land. I didn’t know what to do. I felt my body frozen with fear.

“Yyyyyoooouuuuuuuu……. Lllllleeeeexxxxxx……”

It was now 7 feet away. My eyes met its dark eye socket.

“Lllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxx…”

I was still frozen with fear and my body trembling. It came closer slowly. 6 feet… 5 feet… It raised its lifeless arms to grasp me as more blood came from its mouth.

“Lex!”
