Man! Yesterday was the longest day ever. I woke up so early just to level at mix golems, and somehow it took the whole day but I managed to pull that off. Finally reaching 70, my friends and I planned out my advancement trip (planned, because I needed to get strength pills and other supplies…) and departed to our destinations. I went with my friend Rae(zilla) to El Nath to start the quest, and then we waited around for Richie (Talonne/FlyinNeenja) and Za to meet us at Orbis when he came back from Ludi. We flew back to Victoria and marched on over to Kerning City, but that somehow ended up in me just cabbing. After meeting up there, I realized I didn’t know of a Dimension Door in the Swamp… Could I have possibly missed a map or two on my travels?
Apparently so. My friends showed me where it was, and once I set myself up, I went right ahead.

In the crystal gorge, I took a few screenshots and continued on. In the next map, I wasn’t really expecting Dark Lord to already be standing there… So I admit: I jumped right in, and landed on him.
“… My bad.”
So it may not have been the best way to start, but it was nothing at all, and went right on ahead fighting. It was so inspiring to see everyone cheering me on, and Dark Lord wasn’t too hard. There were a couple tight spots, mostly when he casts the weaken spell, or summons the 6 macis. But he went down somewhat easily, and after some sort of victory speech, I left back to Kerning. After my friends and I regrouped, we returned to El Nath (Rae and I took a detour and collected sentinel pieces for scrolls to give to the other two.) and I began the second half of the advancement. Over at the Holy Stone, I started to answer the questions. I did cheat a little bit and had the Q&A out somewhere, but apparently, there were two or three that weren’t in the place I was getting my answers from. So I did well to remember and answer correctly.

Returning to Nath, I finally became a hermit and rejoined the guild. Ohhh, then of course, the hardest part of all: picking my first skill. XD; I went with avenger for now, then tested it on Jr. Yetis. How fun!
I can’t wait to continue onto the higher levels. Even if I already did it a bajillion times ingame- I wanna thank all my homies for being there, and making this an exciting first year of Maple! <3

This should be all for now. Actually, I’m thinking of writing this advancement quest into a story. I’m not sure if I can do this or not, since I’m somewhat busier. (As this is the last month of summer vacation.) Who knows? It might work.
