So I Asutoro and I went down to visit Omega Sector. Working together, we were able to take on most of the monsters we came across in our not-too-in-depth exploration. But during our casual adventure, we ran into a robotic beast known as MT-09.

This was the first miniboss-type creature I’ve ever taken on, aside from king slime. With a lot of jumping around and MP potions though, ‘Toro and I managed to take him down. Well, he tried to help — but he couldn’t hit the thing very well (he ~is~ 9 levels below me), but he did end up landing the final blow when another monster spawned between us.

With this victory lifting our spirits, I’m beginning to wonder how well I could take mushmom. I mean, she is stonger, and I’m only level 40. For that matter I’m not very good at jumpshooting and I don’t have the best reflexes or anysuch. Still… I wonder when I’ll be able to take her? It would be a milestone in my growth, I think.

Any suggestions on when a hunter could start trying mushmom?

Ah well. Going to go work on some of those omega sector quests~
