Read How it all began Ch1 to understand the story better.

I awoke to sunshine across my face. I yawned as I began to sit up. I stepped out of bed and walked to the restroom with my backpack. I quickly brush my teeth and then shortly after take a shower. After my shower I felt refreshed and then I heard the loudest noises I had heard throughout the trip. The noises were of yelling and banging. So I packed up quickly and locked the door on my way out. I walked to the large room that held the teens and where I met Cane and Terra. To my surprise it was completely empty and I could hear the noise coming from up the stairs I had first entered through. So my first thought was that all the teens had gone up the stairs and onto the outside of the ship. I ran up the stairs and opened the door to see nothing. I was blinded by the light of the sun, but soon recovered. I could now see I was in the middle of a swarming crowd of teens. We had arrived at Maple Island and the noises were now obvious. The yelling and banging were from the teens jumping up and down. I had now seen Maple Island with my own eyes and the village was right, it was beautiful.

Everyone scrambled off the ship and onto the Island. I patiently awaited my turn off the ship. As I stepped down off and onto the extend bridge, I could see Maple Island at its full extent. There were many trees, white sand on the beach, and many hills. I looked down to see Cold where he was when I first met him. I approached him once again and asked what was going on.

Me: Hey Cold, what’s going on?
Cold: Oh the lines?
Me: Yes.
Cold: Well they determine your class.
Me: Class?
Cold: Oh, its like the type of hero you will be. Therefore, Warrior, Archer, Magician, or Thief.
Me: I understand now.
Cold: Yes. Go quickly, I have a feeling we will meet again.
Me: All right, later.

I take a better look at the lines and I see the signs above them. They read: Magician, Warrior, Archer, Thief. Near the back of the magician line I see Terra and adjacent to her I see Cane. I walk over to greet them and before I get the chance a Official calls for me.

Official: Hey you there boy
Me: Huh?
Official: Sorry to bother you, but you need to be sorted to a line first.
Me: I don’t think I understand.
Official: I have to tell you which line to enter.
Me: Oh, How do you go along and do that?
Official: Well I can determine what class your best suited for.
Me: I see, well…what am I best suited for?
Official: Hmm…Archer. Definitely.
Me: Well that makes sense my father was a Archer.
Official: Oh, really? What was his H.N?
Me: Excuse me, but would you mind telling me what and H.N is?
Official: Ah, yes. It represents Hero Name.
Me: Oh, now I understand. I don’t know this to be true, but I think he went by Mirrorz.
Official: Are you serious?
Me: Yes. That’s only a guess though.
Official: Do you happen to know why he put a z at the end of his name?
Me: Well its supposed to be our family tradition.
Official: I see. Well its just your father is..

Before he could say anything else, the official at the desk called me. I told the first official thanks and quickly ran over to the official at the desk.

Desk Official: Please state your H.N.
Me: Oh, I hadn’t given it much thought.
Desk Official: *sigh* Well quickly think of one.
Me: I know…RioTz
Desk Official: All right. You will henceforth be known as RioTz.
Me: Ok. What now?
Desk Official: Go straight ahead to the test portion.
Me: Ok. Thank you.

I then walked forward to see a lady with a bow and a man with a enormous axe. Around them were teens that were best suited for Archers. I joined them and listened to what the lady had to say.

Lady: Listen up, I will only say this once. I am here to teach you how to shoot a bow and arrow. Everything else is for you to learn on your own experience.

She then placed an arrow against the string of the bow and pulled it back with ease. She released it and it soared with strength, but also grace. It hit dead on. Bulls eye. The target was well over 100 yards away and only 3 feet in diameter.

Lady: This is your test. If you hit the target with the one shot I give you, you will pass.

Many booed and yelled how that was unfair. The man with the axe stepped forward and yelled at the top of his lungs “Shut up or you shall face my axe ” Everyone fell silent.

Lady: Now Make a line

A line was quickly formed and she handed the bow and one arrow to the first person in line. He missed along with everyone else after him up until me. I was the midpoint of the line. So that would mean about half the teens in here had already failed. There were no less than 200 teens in this area we gathered at. I thus took the bow and arrow she handed to me. I aimed and then I released. I then closed my eyes and waited for a type of thud noise. Instead I heard a slicing noise and then opened my eyes. I opened my eyes to see my arrow had cut through the lady’s arrow and replaced it. I turned around to see a open mouth expression on all of my fellow teens. I then heard the greatest two words of my life whispered into my ear. “You passed”
