There is no feeling like the joy you get when a decent group of PQers can not only meet for an extended period of time one day, but also show up the next two consecutive days to continue PQing. It’s amazing.
For the past few days, a couple buddies (old and new) of mine have been traveling through Orbis PQ, racking up experience like sugar-highs on holidays. I just recently learned how to lead Orbis PQ, so it is fun for me to have my buddies looking to me to start a group and organize the adventure. Two of them, Imboo and HeavensIFury have been my PQ buds for awhile now, and were behind me until my break this past weekend. Now we are about even. I also added NamieKumi, ChilIyCheese, and Beachknat to the regiment. The others in our groups are come and go, but these couple are the standards.
Last night was particularly effective once we got our plans into action and smoothly flowing from one PQ to the next. Every now and then we got a bad egg in the group though. I ended up kicking at least two mages for not telling me when they had the disc or dropping the stat too early.
I’ve decided that channel 1 consists of the slums of Maple Story. Anyone who routinely hangs out in channel 1 is either grubbing for attention the whole time, begging for money from people that actually know how to play the game and earn their keep, or trying to launder off useless schmutz to people who obviously could care less. I hate having to go there to find a PQ or a member for PQ. In Mardia it is not so bad, because the world isn’t completely crowded yet. It is still a pain to go there and see spammers and other people begging for PQs and not bothering to organize one themselves (one reason I decided to start leading). I call these people lameos (lame-ohs), and try to leave them where they are.
PQ works much better when it is a group of people that can work together with little or no interruptions or arguments. That is how my group has been managing, and that is why I will be able to hit 71 by the end of this weekend. I love it! Now all I have to do is find a Kandine. Not looking forward to that one…
Orbis PQ is better than mindlessly hitting monsters.
It’s as interesting as killing someone with a concrete grape <– Don’t talk about lemons . I hate lemons now ><
AND YOU GET TO MEET PIRAATEEESS .
