Hmm, boredom + Maple Story = Blogging about Maple Story.
This being my first MMO Tales entry, there’s lots to say and explain.

Recently I moved to Death Teddies as Hot Sands was becoming slow and there’s no way I’m camping a Zombie channel for hours just to train. This started about two weeks ago, I had reached level 75 and decided to try my luck at DTs. The exp was great, the only problem was I kept dying. I headed back to Hot Sands knowing the extra 20-30 minutes of training I’d have to do to earn 10%, but hoping I’d atleast make a little more money. I stuck it out finding a lot of drops, mostly NPC food, but also another 2 60% Cape for STR Scrolls. At 76 I ventured back to DTs hoping I wouldn’t die as often and for the first time playing MS being afraid to train.

The first day had a pretty bad start. I was at the map for about 20 minutes and along comes this Ranger. She begins KS’ing me, telling me she was there first and that I had to change channels. I basically ignored her, the map is huge so I figured she’d just leave me alone. Nope, she followed me everywhere. We go along and I notice the exp is still really good when a Oriental Fury Robe (Below avg. ) drops. I teleport over to it and snatch it, I figure that’s payment for having to endure this little brats KS’ing. Time goes on and she realizes the exp is also good and she’s not even taking damage as I’m freezing all the DTs. We end up partying and I help her level, we add each other and everything is great. Oh, I died again too XD So I was back down to 10% after all that time.

Saturday rolls around and I don’t play on weekends. Too much to do and Scania is always too cramped for me.

Monday! I head back off to DTs after re-potting and train by myself. When I first got there it was early morning and there were people on almost every map. I guess this is how Scania will be this summer. I look around and finally find a map with just one other person on it. I begin to train for a bit when a Blue Sage drops. Nothing great, but DT drops are terrible anyways. I Work my way up to 20% and head off to grab a snack and relax for an hour or so.

Get back on and who do I see but MageMasher85! I partied with him when I was 75 at DTs, but hadn’t seen him since as I had been back at Hot Sands. We party and I work my way up to 30%. I add MageMasher and take another break to eat lunch. Yes, I take a lot of breaks. I like to train for 10%, then leave for an hour or two. Train for 10%, leave, and so on. I generally only earn about 20% per day, 30%-40% if I have nothing else to do. 20% per day lets me level each week, so I try my best to fit in 2 hours of game-play.

So I’ve got my 20% for the day. DTs were pretty crowded anyways, but atleast everyone was nice enough not to KS me at all. Everyone moved around my big frozen mobs, which is rare. I’ll probably get back on tonight and train with this Chief Bandit if he’s still on. I made a post on SW about looking for a DT party and he replied, so I’d like to see how a CB party works out. If I do, hopefully I’ll get up to 40% which gives me lots of time to level by Friday.
