Matt [shouting]: D*mn b*tch, get away from my girl or your friend dies.
Me [calmly]: You know that she wont love you if you kill him, right?
Matt: B*tch you heard me.

Jon stared at Matt without fear in his eyes. Jon’s fingers crept to his bedside table, as he reached for the Shinkita. I nodded at Jon and attempted to stall Matt.

Me: Okay. . . Matt what the hell did you do to make her ditch you anyways?
Matt [angrily]: Not me . . . it’s what YOU did!

After many tense seconds, Jon tried to lift his Shinkita with his injured arms. He tried a Savage Blow, but it came out as a Double Stab. All the same, it knocked the hunter clear off his feet. I took this chance, and used Avenger (aka Giant Throwing Star) and made a mess out of the hospital room. It knocked Matt to a wall. I Flash Jumped over to him and pinned him to that wall. Lil Turtle used Heal on Jon and did her best to “repair” his broken arms. I had a sudden urge to kill Matt. Matt’s bow was still in his hand. He smacked me on the head with the bow, as I fell back (man, talk about knock-back o_O). He dashed over to where Jon and Lil Turtle was standing. I lay on the floor with blood coming out of my nose and a slice of pain in my head. Lil Turtle sat on floor frozen in fear. Jon dashed over in front of Lil Turtle in an attempt to protect her. I drew some little power that was in me, and gave Jon Haste. He jumped to Matt and landed a Savage Blow on Matt. “Dang!” I thought. I was fighting in a hospital room!

I heard the door open. A Priest working at the hospital just walked in, with shock. The Priest opened up a Mystic Door and shoved Lil Turtle in it. He then used Shining Ray and knocked back both Jon and Matt. The Priest walked over to me and murmured some words. My nose felt better and my pain started to ease. I sat up. I quickly explained to the Priest what happened.

Priest: Now . . . about your friend, Jon, is it?

Jon nodded.

Priest: He doesnt seem too injured, but that Hunter fella’

I gave a grin. I think Jon dealed with him fairly well.

Priest: He’s severely injured. You did fairly well! Erm– (cough) you injured him pretty bad.

The two of us (Jon and I) laughed. Lil Turtle walked in as the Priest exited.

Lil Turtle: Chris. . . let me explain. . .
Chris: Eh?
Jon: I think this is the part when I go.

Jon went outside.

Lil Turtle: Well, as you went away, Matt saw that box you dropped. Matt was very nice, if you knew him. Protective at times. . . nice. . . athletic. . . sweet. . . and–
Chris [annoyed]: Kay, ’nuff of that lovey duvey crap about him, please go on -_-.
Lil Turtle [sadly]: Well, since you killed that whole mob of people. . . I was very scared of you. . . And I found someone new. . . But you were still on my mind. . . I still wanted you. . .
Chris: I see. . .
Lil Turtle: When you were awake, I saw SO surprised. I thought you were dead. Part of me was actually happy because then I would have to worry about you anymore. The other part of me still loved you. . . and didnt understand why I was scared. . .

I nodded.

Lil Turtle: I hope we can still be together? Unless you’re mad at me now. . . because this isnt the first time someoen tried to take me away. . .
Me: Isnt that the truth -_-. . .
Lil Turtle [softly]: Now, will you take me back?
Me: Yeah, of course. . .

Lil Turtle gave me a hug. We both walked outside together and met up with Jon, Sam, Stephanie, and Alex. Alex gave me the usual “hi”. Sam and Stephanie were talkin’ about something. We then each decided to head to El Nath. We each whispered our own incantation as we went to Ellinia through scrolls. We all boarded the Boat to Orbis. I sat in the cabin and stared out the window. I stared at how similiar this boat was to the other one. The wood and such. As the ride started . . .Oh the memories it brought back! The Balrog killing me, the Power Elixers. . . being stranded. It gave a chill down my spine.

We all headed down the Orbis Tower and towards El Nath. There was a storm stirring around El Nath. The Snow was blowing in my face. My face was numb, my feet were frozen. I am Chris, a top rank Hermit. I held Lil Turtle close to me and she gave me a kiss. This time, I wasnt afraid of not making to El Nath alive. I didnt need to be scared. I had my girlfriend at my side, and my friends behind me. I knew at that moment, that whenver someone in the future asked me “How did your girlfriend know she wanted to be your wife?”, I would laugh and reply, “I can only tell you My Side of a Maple Romance Story, not her’s.”
