Happy, happy, happy, happy.

Happy today. Happy, happy, happy. So happy I won’t write with complete sentences. Yay~ I found him! Yay I found him I found him I found him…
Ahem.
This seems like old news to me, but I might as well post it. Last week, I found a long lost friend, ChocoboRush, in a chance meeting in the Free Market.
We had both thought the other had quit (in his words, “I THOUGHT YOU DIED!”), so we were noticeably amazed. The reason we lost touch turned out to be silly and preventable; in no time at all we were chatting like good times past. In the first screenshot, I’m on one of my mules, browsing the FM, when ChocoboRush runs up and starts poking Vanya. This was probably the first time I had seen him in two months or so.
My main was somewhere in El Nath, so I hurriedly scrolled up the tower and took a ship: to Vic! I think I’ve mentioned how much I dislike that place. Further details about my adventures on Victoria Island will be told.. in another blog. Whaaat? I’m feeling kinda lazy today. ^^”
Upon reaching Victoria Island, I quickly reset my key settings from coolie-extermination mode to furry-woodland-creature-xenocide mode. In other words, I moved Strafe off “ctrl” and put Inferno there instead. =D BURN! Burn you puny little mortals, oh look that one’s quite cute, kill it anyways!
Of course, since I was used to Inferno being elsewhere, I found myself reaching for the previously set location. Ugh. The skills got moved back.
Anyway, I entered “stalkz0r mode”, using the /find function to track ChocoboRush down. I found him in a secluded little map off a peaceful village town, surrounded by the bones and gristle of countless hundreds of turkeys, stomping on the pitiful broken shells of the deceased, grinning wildly as he struck, and struck, and struck, and…
Uhm. He was at The Hill East of Henesys. [2]
Before I go into our little antics, I’d like to direct attention to the third screenshot, which is the earliest screenshot I could find of ChocoboRush talking in the chatbox. I think I was threatening to bid snipe an auction out of his hands. Old cursor for the win, by the way; the new one looks freaky.
ChocoboRush asked me to use a 60% atk scroll on his Asianic (level 60 bow), which I agreed to. Unfortunately, I failed it. I have terrible scrolling luck. =( He said it was okay, that the bow was free from a friend and that he’d use it no matter what. Since I still felt guilty about his ruined bow, I gave him my 100%’ed Red Tai to make up for it. This prompted.. screenshot 4! It seems ChocoboRush has an unfortunate obsession with the color blue. Pshhh. In the chat box, I openly state that green is my favorite color. The only reason I use my blue Icarus cape is.. uhh.. 10 speed and 5 dex. F3. That sounds about right. And that’s correct: I had a whopping 191k right then. Vanya owes me 9.1 mil though.
And here’s another nice chat sampling:
[Supermegaphone-tard]: Get vac hack, godmode, nx/meso hack, at […]
Iepiat: Haha, meso hack, what idiots…
ChocoboRush: Yeah Allen.
ChocoboRush: You fire mesos.
ChocoboRush: Like a meso cannon.
ChocoboRush: Pow.
That guy is awesome.

Oh! Take special note of the chat box snippage. The place where Kitrinas says that I’m… crazy. Is it really that obvious? =X
Link 2 – A compilation of screenshots, some new, some old.
Since then, I’ve lost contact with CaranA, V0lture, and Rockabilly. “theshadow88” hasn’t been on for more than three weeks. BlackNazgul has quit, as have W00sh, michael1590, Valentinia, AznPenguinXD, kimBLAH, and Hariyama465.
Sigh…
I am glad you found your friend!
I love stalking! So fun =)
Kool.
Can you find a guy named “KoreanKIDD”? I think he quit.
Same with “xChUn”. . .
What do I look like, a professional stalker? Don’t answer that question!
Looking at their semi-stripped characters on Scania, it would seem that they’ve quit. =(
It sucks to lose a Mapling companion. Not knowing who they really were, their personal story, the emotions they may have kept secret to keep down the pain. I suggest everyone, if they haven’t done so yet, to find out some way to keep contact with these best of friends: out of the game, through some sort of messaging system. This is something I realized all too late, and I regret it sorely.
Thats alot of corn dogs. o.O Did anybody else notice? His mule(i think) had 1300 corn dogs.
Thats WoW for me. I have a little level 17 almost 18 dexless sin in Bellocan cause all my other chars died off. T.T
But fortunately my real life friend said hey. He talked about how he got a 64 attack K-Fan for 5 mil and we’re buddies.
Him dexless bandit. Me dexless sin. o.O
Woah long post much!
~Eat the RAMEN!
*cough cough*
uh. . .
If you think that’s a lot, you don’t want to see my other warrior. 2700 All-cure pots, all from the zombie tooth exchange quest.
And drunkdaddy, if you had read my other blogs, you’d realize that I usually introduce a theme and then quickly refute it. It’s an easy way to tell if people actually read the blogs, or if they just shoot off a comment about the first thing that comes to mind. I find that it’s a good way to form opinions about people’s intelligence.
Congrats on finding your friend! Friends are great to have, especially if it has been a while between them!
what? I just coughed and said uh. . .
no need to get overreacted, what’d I do!?
Hmm, why didnt you just meet up with him at the Free MArket?
Overreacting? Where? Sorry, um. . . that’s how I normally am. *blank look* Anything but exuberant and I’ll be extremely cynical.
Apologies if I insulted you.
QFT.
Imppala – There’s nothing to kill in the Free Market.
This made me laugh lots. xDD Congrats on meeting up with your old friend, though. =D
I always do a /find thing on all my old friends when I’m bored. Then again, I never find them. But the rankings now make tracking friends quite easy, just see if they levelled or not. And what’s wrong being a professional stalker? I’m one my- Oops.
*gestures at blue-gemstone thing onscreen* I have the old cursor as my default cursor. ^^
Ye, let us have more beer and drink to the good old days.
