The door was busted open and I prepared myself for a fight. With my Dark Scarab gripped tightly in my hands, I charged forward, shooting several avengers at the open door. A explosion came and I flew back.

“Heh. So, you decided to run away… You think you can escape? Fat chance.” Someone snorted. The smoke cleared and Shade appeared. Devil was right behind him. Evergreen gasped as he saw Shade. Shade glared at him with a threatening look. Than his expression changed and looked at him, shocked.

“Evergreen..?”

Evergreen stood up and nodded his head. Shade looked at him for a while and than broke into a wide grin. I stared, shocked by the change of events. Plaren’s mouth was wide open. The other 3 girls ran into the room. Evergreen looked at us and back to Shade.

“Looks like I’ve finnaly found you, brother.”

My mouth unexpectedly gaped open when I heard “brother”. I felt my throat go dry. “You’re his brother…?” I asked. Evergreen nodded and Shade nodded.

“My last name is actually Shade. Shade isn’t Shade’s name. It’s-” Before Evergreen could finish, Devil interrupted. “What is this? Is this a friendly conversation? We are here to catch Stormy and the rest. Hello. Back to reality.” Mumbled Devil. Shade nodded and looked at Evergreen.

“This is our first reunion after we were seperated. And it will be our last.” He said as he turned his back.

“What!?” Shouted Evergreen.

“How can you brothers break up? You are a f*ck*ng brother if you do that.” I retorted angrily. “Yea!” Shouted the 3 girls together.

“I’m sorry, Evergreen. I have a guild. And the guild’s wish is to rule Maple. And if it means getting you and your stupid friends out of the way, I shall do it. Nothing will stop us.” Shade replied plainly and cast a disdainful look at us.

My knuckles cracked and I charged forward but Evergreen stopped me. “Brother, if you want to get my friends, let’s fight. I don’t want my friends to get hurt. This will be a battle to death.” Evergreen said.

“No!! Don’t do it! He’s much stronger than you!” Lightning shouted. Plaren, Witz and Megara nodded repeatedly, hoping to change Evergreen’s mind before it’s too late.

“If it’s a battle you have in mind, you got it.” Answered Shade.

“Evergreen!! If you die I’ll never forgive you!! AND MARK MY WORDS!!” I screamed angrily.

He gave me a calm smile, trying to hide his fear.

Shade beckoned him out of the Hotel and he followed. Devil was instructed to stop us from helping him.

I lose him that day, because of his stubborn acts. Just because of that, his life was thrown away. Just like that.
