Lightning

The sunlight streamed through the curtains as I rubbed my sleepy eyes. Than I jumped up. The last thing I remembered was me being held by that man… And Stormy was deciding whether to join their guild or… Oh boy. Where is he?!

I was in the same Hotel we were having dinner at. Hmm.. I looked around the room. The other bed where Witz was sleeping was empty and also unmade. I shrugged as I looked at the time. 11?!?! I must have overslept! I pushed open the door and fell back. What was I thinking?! It was pull, not push.. My mind was mixed up. Without Stormy I felt alone. As I rushed down the stairs, I saw Evergreen, Megara and Plaren there. They were quiet.

“Where’s Stormy!?!” I asked, pratically screaming.
He joined Diasters…

I fell to the ground when I heard the shocking news. He left me alone?!!? But than the man threatened him if he does not join them, he will kill me. He did that for me… I thought as my mind was completely a blank. He had left my life. Will I ever see him again…? Will I ever… See his face again… His cheerful laughter..

“It’s a good choice you decided to join our Guild without resisting us.” Shade said as he paced around the room. I nodded my head, but I still can’t get Lightning out of my mind. “Now, we need you to get some information for us. You will need to assassinate someone.” Shade said as he passed me a picture. In fact, it was a Guild Photo of them!

Shade pointed at the person at the back. I squinted my eyes as I tried to get a better look. I gasped when I saw him. Plaren!

“Well, for your partner, I will get you my most trusted henchman. Devil, please come.” Shade said as someone came through the HeadQuarter’s hallways. He looked at me, raised an eyebrow and looked at Shade. “You want me to work with an Assassin? I work better alone.” He said as he folded his arms. Shade laughed. “I know you work alone, but this time, it’s important you have speed. Plaren is good at dodging. We need Stormy’s-” Shade cut short when he saw I was gone. Shade gritted his teeth as he looked around.

I dodged through the shadows of the Headquarters. Only a few lights were on as it was supposed to be an old abandoned tower. If too many lights were on, it will raise suspicion. With swift movements, I dodged some of the security lights and Guards. Walking around there was like going around a maze. It was confusing. But in the end I reached the entrance. I tried to use steelies to break through it but it was tough. Than, as one steely pierced through the door, the security alarm sounded. I looked around, alert. A few Guards was running at me. They shot steelies and arrows as I dodged them desperately. One arrow pierced through my shoulders as the Hunter gave a shout of triumph. I panted and did Dark Sight. My only hope was that my Dark Sight was strong enough to pass through the Metal Door. I jumped and I closed my eyes, wondering how it’s like to have a bumb on the head. But, Increadibly, I got right through the metal door! I grunted and took out my nearest town scroll. I appeared at Elinia and tried to remember where the Hotel is. Oh yes! It’s at Perion! I took out my Perion return scroll and was saying out the incantation when a Steelies whizzed right through the scroll, tearing it into half. I snorted and took out another one. This time I jumped next to a tree. With the protection of the tree, I finished the incantation and appeared at Perion. Unfortuanately, as I fell, I rolled right onto the top of Perion. I started rolling towards the cliff. I took out my stars and dug them into the ground, slowing down the rolling. With another jolt of strength, I jumped back. I panted heavily as I looked down.

“That will have been a nasty fall.”

I jumped around, tobis in hand. The hunter seemed surprise. “Are you members of Diasters?” I asked. “Never even heard of it before.” He laughed as he sat down. I sighed a sigh of relief and sat down next to him. “What’s your name?” I heard him ask. “Stormy. Yours?” I answered. “Kript.” He said softly. I nodded. We sat in silence for a while as I tried to catch my breathe.

The cool breeze blew against my face and I enjoyed it. Than I remembered what I was here for. “Hey, it’s nice meeting you.” I said and was going to jump down when he stopped me. “Can I add you as a buddy?” He said. I grinned, agreeing. I gave him my buddy communicator and we both connected it. *Beep* I took it back, gave him one last glance before I jumped down. I landed next to the Hotel. I knocked on the door repeatedly before being greeted by a angry face. “Yes!? It’s past midnight. You should’ve come earlier. But never mind.” The innkeeper said before guiding me in. I signed in and tried to find out where Lightning sleeps. “Room 25A. Now please go to your room. I need some sleep.” He said, eyes half closed as he went to his room. I climbed up the stairs and searched for Room 25A. I found it soon and I knocked on it. This time a sleepy face greeted me. Witz. “Err..May I know who you are?” Asked Witz, squinting her eyes. “Who else…?” I laughed sheepishly. “Hey, I know that laugh. STORMY?!?!” Squealed Witz as she was squeezed beside. I saw Lightning’s face now. “Err… Hi?” I mumbled, and I felt my cheeks getting hot. She looked at me for a while. “You’re really Stormy?” She asked softly. I shrugged and I took off my Dark Idendity, showing my dyed blue hair. She hugged me as I felt her breathe. “Er… I’m sorta dirty running away from Diasters.. You mind?” I mumbered. “I don’t mind… It’s so good to have you back again.” She said and I felt some tears falling from her face. “I don’t think we will have any peace from now on. Diasters will be after me. And I need to warn Plaren.” I said after she released me. She nodded as I went to Room 25B. I knocked repeatedly before Plaren opened the door. Evergreen was there too. Plaren looked shock when he saw me.

A blast of stars came from the cornor, glass shattering. I winced as some sharp spericals struck me on my arms. Hermits jumped through the window and looked around. I pushed them in and closed the door shut softly.

Look out guys. They are trying to find me, and they will do anything to do it. Even if it means to kill you two.
