Theres a difference! DX<

OoOoOoOo. A Rant Blog.
I haven’t done one of these since the time I was first here.
Good time, GOOOOOOOD times. . .

Anyways.
Onto this. . .Complaint?

I’ve read it in blogs, I’ve seen people use them on MapleStory, and even typed up on “Internet Funnies” and “Flash Cartoons” yet no matter how many times I tell people, I don’t think its quite getting through.
So lets start from the top!

*runs over to a whiteboard with a marker drawing of a Chibi Grimno holding a sword in the air as he stands over a slain dragon*

*coughs*
Just a doodle I did during spare time. . .

~erases~

Ok.

*grabs a black marker and starts to write*

Lets see. . . *writes Noob and Newb*

Alright. These 2 words. What I stress is that people use their meanings to the opposite form, and give 1 of the 2 both meanings.

Newb and Noob are almost 100% different!

Heres the Wikipedia Definitions.

Newb-is a slang term for a newcomer to online gaming or an Internet activity. It can also be used for any other activity in whose context a somewhat clueless newcomer could exist. It can have derogatory connotations, but is also often used for descriptive purposes only, without a value judgement

and heres Noob

Noob-Usually someone, often in online games who acts in offensive ways to other users or people that surround them and refuse to go away, or by any other methods for the sole purpose of annoying others. Noob is also referred to as a everyday offensive word used by people to offend others or to refer to people who act offensively.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE!
EVEN IN THE NAMES!

NEWb = Someone NEW to the game!

IS THAT NOT A BIG ENOUGH CLUE?!

Should it be known that its a short version of NEWbie?! Newbie people! COME ON!!! DX>

*erases the board again*

I don’t even see why its hard to remember.
You insult people with Noob, and you call low lvls Newbs. But you can also call Newbs Noobs.
There should be a combined version of Noob and Newb so that it can be used specifically on low lvl idiots.
Cause you can’t call a lvl 127ish, a Newb.

Noeb? Hmmm. . . Nowb? Idk.

And brings me to Nub.
I think THIS is what caused the majority of English mispellings. . .

In Wikipedia in stats that NUB is a Variation of NEWB “AND OR” <–(Theres the problem) NOOB.
Thats pretty much it.

And below that it says there was a King Nub in an Indiana Jones game.
Lawl.
King of the Nubs.
Plus Nub is the Egyptian word for GOLD!
And its Navy Slang.
And its a climbing term.
And its a slang word for “A pointy Stick”.

Yeah. . .

So I just wanted to get this off my back. . .
~sniff~
Eh. . .

Anyways. Me and Chi gotta go surgercly remove a T.V. from MasterCheeze. . . He kept complaining the T.V. in Dest’s “Place” wasn’t good reception, and Ganzicus kinda got annoyed. . . so you can pretty much assume what Ganzy did to that T.V. . .

Come Chi.

TO THE MEDICAL MOBILE! (*CoughAmbulanceCough*)

~rushes off~

~Grimno (The Eccentric Chainsaw-Weilding Doctor with a P.H.D. in Medicine, Science, and Kicking your ass!. Well, at least hes not a Maniac in a Speedo. . .)

  1. Ganzicus said: “Newbs can be newbs, noobs can be noobs, newbs can be noobs, and noobs can be newbs. But not all newbs are noobs, and not all noobs are newbs. gah that was hard to pronounce”

Repeat that 10 times without messing up and I’ll give you $5. x3

  2. Newbs can be newbs, noobs can be noobs, newbs can be noobs, and noobs can be newbs. But not all newbs are noobs, and not all noobs are newbs. gah that was hard to pronounce
