Magical Vacuum Sucker?

Ok. This is really off the subject of MapleStory. I still can’t play…

Since I can’t play, I’m going to AOL chatrooms to RolePlay. I usually play as a guy named Joseph who weilds a GreatSword. My biggest problem is that whenever I play the nice guy, everyone seems to want to kill me. Yet when I play the snob or the guy with a bad attitude, I’m not attacked. So far, my character has been grouped up on and killed twice. Yesterday AND Today! >: (

The main reason is that there are two players. “TheHoundBarks” and “The Laz Virus” who seem to want to always kill me. Laz is known for killing anyone. And Hound is simply just…well…a b!tch. Hound uses something he calls
“A Vacuum Sucker” which is part of his soul and has the ability to absorb ANY types of magic used in an instant. This has caused me to be unable to use shield, teleport or heal. I need to know.

HOW THE HECK CAN YOU BEAT IT!? My only thought is when try to teleport, you use one hand to form a constant barrier around you which would start getting abosrbed, but you continue it so its constintaly being absorbed. Than with your other hand, you use it to cast Teleport. However, knowing him. It ain’t gonna work.

Any suggestions?

  2. You could make a new character that has the ability to nullify reaction abilities so when he tries to absorb your magic, you can disable his attack.

    Or make a character that can burrow underground like a mole. Then pop up behind him and assassinate him.

    Or you could find a boomerang or a bow and try to attack him from far away because those are just regular attacks.

    Or you could make a spell that has a poison inside the magic you are casting so when he sucks it up it will poison him and allow you to come up and finish him off.

    I don’t know how text role playing games really work but those may help.

    No one would understand that other than Ragnarok people like me,
    Well you could have some kind of spell or armour that makes you invincible against magic but then you get loads of negative stuff.
    Say like lower damage or something.
    (Btw that is what GTB does in Ragnarok)

    Maybe if it is part of his soul maybe you could damage somehow, make it absorb something that isnt magic?
    Say you enchant an item, thus making it a peice of magic and then he absorbs that the item is no longer enchanted hurting him directly at his soul
    Lol this is actually kinda fun
