My apologies (With Stories)

I’m sorry for posting that saddening poem yesterday.

I just thought that I could cheer someone up with it. But I think that some of you didn’t actually get my point to putting it up (No, it’s not my poem, my teacher gave it to me). THe point of the poem sounds sad, but it is actually very uplifting if you see it from a different perspective. You see, the point of it was to tell you all that even if bad things happen, even if things can turn horrible in an instant, things can and will be better in the future if you just work hard enough.

Well, now that that’s overwith, here’s another story for you all.

The lonliest snail

Once upon a time in Maple Island, there was a cute and adorable little snail. His name was Mr. Muffins, and he loved to be friendly.

However, the other, stronger snails who didn’t give a care in the world about being nice picked on por little Mr. Muffins. Mr. Muffins lived a sad life full of terror and fear out of the other snails.

One day however, he would be afraid of a new thing. A thing he has never seen before. While he was crawling around in the bushes, he saw another snail in an open field. But all of a sudden, a sword pierced right through the snail’s shell. Mr. Muffins peeked out of the bush to investigate what this thing was, and saw a tall, tannish animal carrying a shiny stick-thingy. When the thing turned to look at Mr. Muffins in the bushes, he hurried as fast as he could to safety.

He was worried about this new thing that he told other snails about them. But the snails, seeing as how they treated Mr. Muffins in the past, had done the expected in disbelieving anything Mr. Muffins said. Mr. Muffins the decided to let these fools die on their own, but moreover, he was still worried about his kind. He was worried if one of those tall things was one day going to get him too.

Another new day came. As Mr. Muffins was walking around in the field, his worst fears were realized. He saw one of the tall things that killed the snail a few days back. Instinct took hold and he hurried as fast as he could. The tall thing said, “AWW!!! How cute!” Mr. Muffins froze where he was and turned around to face the tall thing. This tall thing wasn’t carrying a sword, in fact, this one was a pretty short thing, that appeared to be holding a small little bear at his side.

“Aww! You’re sooo cute!” Said the thing. Mr. Muffins went up to him out of curiosity. The thing just couldn’t believe the level of ultimate cuteness that Mr. Muffins had. As he came closer, the thing laid out an apple for Mr. Muffins, which he took with great happiness, and sheer hunger.

Soon, the thing and Mr. Muffins became really good friends as Mr. Muffins lived with the thing in his home. He was surprised at this outcome of relationships, but was also happy. The other snails didn’t even show one ounce of respect towards him. They were only filled with the will to fight anyone, even if it means to die like an idiotic moron. This human, as Mr. Muffins came to know them by now, was unlike the others. He didn’t care about causing death, he only cared for the pretty things in life. From then on, they both lived a happy life together.

The lesson is: Pretty much, snails pwn!!!

Hope that cheered you up then! Not as grim as the other thing!

  1. This is also uplifting, but I found your poem to be even more meaningful.

All in all, your work is very good.

  2. How’d the snail at Drakes Meal Table get a permanent name? o_O
I don’t like snails in real life, D: they scare me.
