Survival

Sam was dripping with sweat. His back was pressed to a large boulder on a path leading up to a volcano. In his right hand he held a dagger. It had a steel blade and an onyx handle. The blade reflected against the sun as he adjusted his grip on the dagger. His attacker was approaching. He wielded a sword that had features almost identical to his weapon.

He only waited for a minute, but every second felt like a lifetime to him. Suddenly, he heard a grunt and a figure leaned over at him from above. Sam tried to defend himself as the kid jumped down and pointed his sword at him. Sam backed up to stay out of his range, but soon he could not go any farther without falling to his death. Before he knew what was happening, the attacker was at his side and the blade was parallel to his throat. He heard the boy whisper into his ear to drop his weapon.

The story is about several teenagers who are kidnapped and placed on an island. They each have a weapon and these are all Maplestory weapons. I got the basic plot from a Japanese movie I heard of. But I have never seen it so if any of the events are related it’s unintentional.
