If you didn’t read the first one here is the link

Here are chapters 3 and 4.

Chapter 3- Players and Hackers

By now Beta was over and the real game was released. There was a max level of 70 and no third jobs. People were nicer around this time. There were no people begging for money, mp, hp, pots, heal, bless, invincible, fame, defame, training, quest items, help, someone to party them, advice, girlfriends, boyfriends, hacks, a GM to talk to them, secks, new computers, characters, eBay accounts, wireless mouses, haste, and that kind of stuff.

Since there were only a few people that were much higher in level then everyone else, they were able to help each other train. There were no high levels to kill steal you while you were in Henesys Hunting Ground because he just felt like being a jerk that day. People who tried to kill steal where later mugged by a group of noobs and then then took turns defaming him.

And there was no such thing as summoning bags. People could safely sit around in town afk without having to worry about being killed by a monster for the pleasure of higher levels. Most importantly, there was no such thing as the Cash Shop so there were no megaphones. You could have conversation without it being interrupted every 3 seconds by someone who has to make some remark about another player’s sexuality because they wouldn’t give him 1 million mesos for him to buy new armor.

There were also no scrolls. Because of that there were no people that would trade a scroll and then cancel and put a pet scroll up instead. And the Maplestory quitting percentage coincidentally went up by 50% when scrolls came out. There are always those people who buy 10% scrolls and think that they are actually going to work and then quit the game because they spent all of the money they begged for on scrolls.

But in this era of nice Maplers hacking was created. It was made by one of the original creators of the game after he realized that the stuffed animal didn’t actually kill his friend. He made the vacuum hack, fly hack, and speed hack then created multiple websites with intructions that even a hacking wannabe could understand. Unfortunately for him, very few people used these hacks in the game.

More people felt respect for the other players but some people really just didn’t care. Ever so slowly the hacker population was growing and soon it would become a problem for Wizet. They only had one thing they could do, create GMs.

Chapter 4- Game Masters

Wizet did not want to have people stop playing the game before they could even release the cash shop so they went for drastic measures and “created” some GMs that would ban hackers for the players. But what they did not know was that GMs were not real.

Wizet staff members created GM accounts as a side job but at first they would go on frequently to make sure that people knew that hackers were being banned. After the fake sense of hope was given to the Maplestory players, they went back to working on the cash shop. By now they had players who would stand up for them in debates on the internet.

This was causing a problem for the creator that had made the hacks. He knew that even fewer people would be inclined to use the hacks now that Wizet banned some of them. So he got his Computer Weekly magazine and looked for the soldier of fortune ad inside. He would need $5,000 to hire an assault team that would bring Wizet down.

So to get this money he used his hacks to make large amounts of mesos. Then he turned around and sold them on eBay. He sold 1 million mesos for only a dollar and Maplers bought them. He quickly made all the money that he needed and was happy to see that some people had started to use his hacks again to make mesos. They realized that the GMs had stopped banning for now at least.

The creator’s assault team came to his house in 6 to 8 weeks, but 2 months later he was finally ready for his takeover of the Wizet corporation. But he was soon put on hold yet again because he found out that the Wizet building was in Korea. It would take him another few months to raise the money again plus the fee of traveling to another country.

Back at the Wizet building, they were nearly done with the cash shop and would soon start to make money off of their stolen game.
