After countless hours of research and backbreaking mouse clicking I have made a list of 50 Maplestory Facts. They are all true* and should be destroyed after reading it so no one else can read it and you can brag about how you read it and they didn’t.

4. Global Maplestory isn’t actually global since the game is in English.

18. It takes an average of 4 hours for a party to finish a party quest from the time that they are looking for a party until the time that they leave the bonus map.

19. 99.8% of the people that say ‘cc plz’ are under 12 years old.

20. 50% of the MS population doesn’t know how to spell ‘change channels please’.

21. GMs ban an average of 10 hackers per day in all versions of Maplestory combined.

22. GMs do not give out IP bans for hacking.

23. More people have been banned for asking a GM for secks then hacking.

24. If all of the experience gained by every character in GMS was put into one character it would be level 15,000.

25. 80% of Bellocan was hackers when it first came out.

26. Bellocan was created so that hackers would move their characters over to that server.

27. Broa has more hackers then Scania and Bera combined.

28. Every day an average of $2,000 is spent on super megaphones.

29. The dice roll has a 2% chance of being perfect 4 and 4 stats.

30. The hair cuts that are available at the beginning of the game are based on real Wizet employees.

31. It takes 150,000 hours of training on snails to become level 70.

32. You would have to kill 500 million snails to become level 150.

33. The total amount of time played by players each day is 500 hours.

34. 20% of new players quit after they can’t figure out how click on an NPC.

35. Over 100,000 new players have quit because they thought it was stupid that you couldn’t be hurt by Jr Sentinels.

36. It takes .20 cents a day to maintain the servers.

37. GMs are only required to play for 1 hour every week.

38. 60% of GMs work at the Wal-Mart across from their building as a part time job.

39. The Wizet CEO makes $40,000 a year.

40. The Warrior class was not in the original game.

41. Scania was named after a GM’s grandmother.

42. In Greek Windia translates to ‘cabbage garden’.

43. JMS updates come approximately 2.1 years before their GMS release.

44. The symbols on the Pelican’s hat who is “transporting” the girl stand for ‘child eater’.

45. The facial expressions on the Roly-Poly workers show the 10 stages of pot addiction.

46. It takes longer to make a new weapon then it does to make a town.

47. Cleric were going to be a 100% support class.

48. When new monsters are released, major Maplestory help sites make a person attack them 1 damage at a time to find out what it’s total is.

49. 30% of drops that are listed on Maplestory websites for monsters are false.

50. In 2010 there is expected to be a Party Quest for every level range from 1-200.
