The Quest I Intend To Take On

“What? You intend to take Blood Lord on?” Asked my mother, horrified.
“No, no. I will just want to stop him from reviving. Don’t jump to conclusions!” I mumbled.
“A mere mapler like you can’t stop him like that. You need to awaken your power within you.” Ray said.
“So? My brother was the chosen one, that means that I could have it in my blood!” I shouted.
“Whoa, calm down.” My father said. “I think it’s best you train up first. But, if you want to become a warrior, you might die.”
“Why? Are there more secrets you never told me?” I asked suspiciously. My father and mother look at each other.

“Yes there is, dear.” My mother said, calming down. I looked at them again.

“[i]After your brother died, we had dreams nearly everyday. It was by your brother. He had a weapon. The weapon is what was known to all of us as the Bow of Destiny. This is one of the 4 mystical weapons. They are, Bow of Destiny, Blade of Strength, Wand of Wisdom and Claw of Speed. This weapons are the key to unlock the mysteries behind the Blood Lord. Only the maker of this weapons knows the Blood Lord’s weaknesses. But he is locked in the deepest part of the Dungeons and guarded by the Jr Balrog. In the Maple History Book, the war against Blood Lord was clearly printed, but 1 page was teared out. Nobody know who did that. But it seem to have the secret of how to destroy Blood Lord. Ryan, you must obtain that page before you can kill Blood Lord. Remember, do not intend to destroy it with a original weapon. And the reason we do not want you to be a Warrior is because, Blood Lord needs energy to revive. So he is sending his henchmen all around looking for strong Warriors. They take their blood and feed their Lord. Once it regains full strength, he will awake once again, and the Maple World might be covered in Darkness again[i]” My father said and I nodded.

“I’m all set to go on this journey. I have read all this in the History Books at school. (This is the reason!! <<) I think I’m ready.” I said.

“What about your Job Avancement?” Asked Ray.

“I’ll still be a Warrior.” I said, determined. “I’ll go with you.” Said Stacey, standing up. “Well, if a girl goes, and I refuse… What kind of boy am I? I’m going to.” Ray said. I nodded.

“We will go first thing in the morning. I’m going to train and get my Job Avancement.” I said and headed out of the house.

I took a Taxi to Perion after training. I got my Job Avancement easily. As I walked back towards my house, my sixth sense found something amiss. Someone seemed to be following me. I turned around and took out my Wooden Mallet. What I saw shocked me. Thousands of Slimes?! What the hell?

I got ready as the Slimes pounced towards me. I continously dodge their attacks and strike them with Slash Blast. Than suddenly, a Slime jumped on me and pushed me to the ground. The rest took this avantage to hit me with their Slime bubbles. Although it didn’t hurt much, I found it harder and harder to breathe as the slimes prevent air from coming in. I choked. I wasn’t going to last if I don’t breathe soon. Than suddenly, I felt a tremendous power inside me. A roar escaped my mouth and the whole forest shook. The slimes dissapeared immediately.

“What the hack?” I mumbled as I stared down at myself. I was still the same myself, alright. But what was that? It seemed like a Dragon Roar… I panted and fell to the ground. That attack tooked a lot out of me, whatever it was.

Than all of a sudden, another group of slimes came at me. I stared around. This wasn’t normal. Slimes don’t attack in groups… Unless… I was right. The ground suddenly shook tremendously and I fell back. The slimes jumped back in horror and dashed out. “No way! That power.. It seemed.. like a thousand of Warriors!! Does that mean… Blood Lord has already revived…?
