Uprising Death- Chapter 14

Chapter 14- The Village of the Black Smiths

Location- Black Mountain
Time- 6:32 pm
Date- July 2nd, 2102

Issac felt tired for climbing Black Mountain for 2 days without rest, but he really needed to repair his Doombringer soon. He felt a heavy mist of some type of poison wrap around him. Issac then found himself in a deep fog. Issac walked around lost until he exited the fog- to enter a clearing full of Hodiris and Hoguls. Issac reached for his Doombringer but remembered that the Doombringer was still in need of repair. He reached for his Beheader and unsheathed it. He felt a power in the Beheader’s crystal starting to rotate. Issac thought of it as a skill of some sort.

He swung the Beheader and made a disc of spiraling energy that sliced the pack in halves before they can react.
“Wow,” Issac said before feeling the crystals energy returned to normal. He sheathed the Beheader and walked past the bloody corpses. He climbed the mountain more and found a giant boulder. “The entrance to the village.”

Issac unsheathed his Beheader and focused the energy in the crystal to make the power spin. He swung his Beheader to fire the disc of spiraling energy at the boulder. The boulder was sliced in half and the entrance was revealed. He walked into the village. He had several guards point their spears at him.
“What business do you have her outsider,” one of the guards asked. Issac smiled.
“Lower your spear Victor,” Issac told the guard, “Its me, Issac.” The guard looked closer at him.
“It is you Issac!” the guard named Victor shouted and shook hands with Issac. “What do you need here?” Issac showed him his Doombringer.

“My Doombringer broke,” Issac told him.
“Wow,” Victor said. “It was forged out of a Bahamut Tooth. How can it break so easily?”
“Lets go to Uvaria to see what he can do,” Issac said walking toward the furthest tent.

The blacksmith known as Uvaria examined the two pieces of the Doombringer. He sighed.
“You really think that the Doombringer can take down a barrier of the Uprising Death?” he asked.
“Well pretty much,” Issac replied.
“Well I can repair the Doombringer with this,” Uvaria showing a fragment of some type of tooth. The shape Issac recognized.
“A Horntail Dragon tooth?”
“Yes. I got it from slaying the Horntail using your Beheader. But while I repair your sword, you must master that crystals power within your Beheader. Lately, there was some dark energy around the Mangoku Path.”
“And you want me to investigate? Alright no problem.”

Issac walked along the path while it continued getting darker. He entered the canyon and saw boulders drop from the top into the river below. Issac unsheathed his Beheader. He focused to spin the crystals energy and swung his Beheader to stop the rocks from falling- for a minute. Issac used this time to run to through the canyon and used his Beheader to cut apart the rocks. He made it out of the canyon and walked down the path.

It became midnight as Issac continued walking down the path. He got a bottle of Pure Water and drank it down. He continued walking down the path wondering where Maldran was. Issac felt closer to the dark energy and saw something on the ground. In closer inspection he saw it was a person. Issac walked over to him and rolled him over.
“Maldran!” Issac shouted seeing that Maldran had cuts on his face. He also noticed that one of Maldrans arms were cut off as well as a leg. “What happened?”

Maldran coughed a little bit.
“Micheal. . . too strong. . . heading to. . . village. . .,” Maldran said before fainting. Issac poured water into Maldrans mouth and he swallowed it a little the water.
“Issac?” Maldran said. He sat up. “Get to the village, I’ll catch up.” And Maldrans limbs started to grow back. Issac nodded and started running back down the path.

To be continued.
