A Dark Secret- El Nath

Mission- Investigate on what happened to Bravo Company
Location- Black Raven 21
Destination- El Nath

El Nath. had became unpopulated due to sudden drop in temperature. Bravo Company had been sent to search for another gang that was creating Mutant Monsters and found that there was a strong radioactive waves emitting from a location around El Nath. After 10 minutes of the mission a live feed back to base suddenly stopped and disappeared. Alpha Company was sent to search for Bravo Company.

Cipher had reminded himself of what the mission is several times. His HUD turned black and formed the feed from what Bravo Company saw. For a while at least.

Playing live feed of Bravo 3, Private Smith

The snow decended from the sky slowly and the entire Bravo Team knew why El Nathians left and lived on Artifical El Nath. Everybody prepared there weapons and waited for orders.

“Come on!” Corporal Jenkins shouted. “I want to get this over with and get out of this cold area!
“Dont worry Jenkins this mission will be over in no time,” Bravo 1 reassured. She turned to the direction the NAV point was going. “Lets move!

Private Smith made sure the feed was running alright.
“Dont worry Smith we can see alright,” a voice said over the COM on a private channel to him. Smith ran up to the rest of Bravo Team. They found an old mine shaft. Bravo 1 activated her COM.

“Is this the place?” she asked. There was a pause.
“Yeah Bravo 1. The radioactive waves are coming strong.”
“Roger that.”

Bravo 1 turned to the rest of the Bravo Team. She waved them to enter the cave and they did. The shaft smelled like old poop left in the sun for a week. At least thats what Jenkins said. Smith clicked the safety off on his M16. The view suddenly turned black.

Cipher had no time for the minor problems. He fast forward the tape.

The view turned green due to night vision. Smith stood in a battle field of dead Taurogunners and Red Golems. Bravo Team had dwindled from a team of 15 to a 6 man team. Smith, Jenkins, Bravo 1, Bravo 10, Bravo 12, and Bravo 15 were the only ones alive.

“That was too close,” Jenkins said aloud.
“Maybe we should abort the mission,” Bravo 12 suggested. He almost lost his head while fighting a Red Golem, but Bravo 3 was the one that lost his head. Literally.
“Stow it. We have a mission to finish,” Bravo 1 replied. She tossed her empty M4 Carbine and picked up a chain-gun that a Taurogunner used. She fired a sustained burst at the wall. “I think I know how to use this thing.

Cipher fast forwarded the tape again.

“Where the hell are we now?” Jenkins asked. They had gotten lost about 2 minutes ago.
“I dont know but I dont like how quiet it is,” Bravo 15 answered. After awhile Bravo 1 came to a decision.
“Alright mission abort. If we find anymore contacts on how weak we are right now, we’re gonna die,” Bravo 1 pointed out.
“Finally!” Bravo 12 shouted and started walking back to the previous tunnel. “I got enough of the night vision for one da-“

Then a sound of a sniper rifle was heard. Bravo 12 fell down and his head started leaking blood.
“Suppress and fire!” Bravo 1 ordered and started firing the chain-gun at random areas. Smith started to fire the M16. Another sniper fire was sounded and Jenkins got hit in the shoulder. “Fall back!”

They started running to the tunnel when a grenade landed in front of Bravo 15. It blew and he became a KIA. They still ran for the tunnel. Another sniper fire was heard and Smith shouted in pain and the feed stopped.

Cipher returned back to normal view and saw El Nath in the distance. Sergeant Sleyin sat across from Cipher with his A 10. calibre shotgun loaded. First Sergeant Lee stood in the cockpit to view where they were. Warrant Officer Santiago had her G36K assault rifle slung on her back and she checked her Beretta 92. Cipher had a MA5C and a S2 AM sniper rifle. The First Sergeant walked over to Cipher.

“Although you may be the leader of Alpha Squad, I am your superior and you shall do what I say, is that clear?!” he barked.
“Sir, yes sir!” Cipher shouted. Lee smiled and went near to the edge of the dropship.
“Lets go soldiers!” Lee ordered. He had a M16 at his side for the close ranged combat. Cipher followed, then Santiago, and then Sleyin.

Cipher thought back to the tape. The sniper shots have been too exact, too clean. It seemed like it wasn’t a Taurogunner firing the shots, but who?

After a few minutes they found a battle zone covered with dead bodies. Sleyin kicked a dead Taurogunner.

“Yep they’re dead,” he reported.
“You think we didnt notice that Sergeant Sleyin?” Lee asked. They heard some hard breathing. Cipher ran over to the breathing and found it was a Taurogunner- dead.
“Is there someone there?” Cipher asked. The body of the Taurogunner flipped over and a Private crawled out. He was armed with a M9 handgun.

“Alpha Squad? Im glad that you’re here,” the Private gasped. “Private Jenkins. I was too afraid to run out and call for evac because I thought that they might get me.”

“Is there anyone else alive Jenkins?” Santiago asked. He shook his head.
“No. Im the only survivor,” he replied. He winced. The bullet wound on his shoulder was bad. Santiago got a med-kit and applied some gauze onto the wound after disinfecting it.
“Who’s they?” Sleyin asked.
“Omega Squad,” Jenkins answered.

Alpha Squad and Bravo 5 entered the tunnel where the live feed stopped. Cipher saw Private Smith, dead.
“We must be close,” Lee told the team. “Prepare for anything.”
They entered the cavern. After 10 seconds, Cipher nearly dodged a sniper bullet. Cipher slung the assault rifle and equiped the sniper rifle. He looked through the zoom scope. He found Omega 3 with a sniper rifle. Cipher didnt like it, but he knew what he had to do.

The sniper bullet flew and killed Omega 3. All of a sudden, they heard sounds of the rest of Omega Squad retreating.

“That was boring,” Sleyin whispered. Then a horde of normal Taurospears and mutant Taurogunners entering the cavern.
“You had to say something didnt you?!” Santiago shouted at him. She fired a sustained burst into a Taurospear.
“Sorry ma’am!” Sleyin replied, firing a round into a Taurogunners torso. Jenkins threw a grenade into the middle of the horde. It detonated, but that didnt kill all of them. Cipher had little choice and equiped his assault rifle and emptied a clip into a Taurospear.

Lee, being an expert with a sniper rifle, fired his rail gun at every Tauro thing he found. The bullets hit there marks and killed the monster. But even that couldnt take down a horde of them.

Major Shackles had been caught with other soldiers in a battle around the base. Taurogunners, Super Fire Raccoons, and now Red Golems were attacking. Major Shackles fired a sustained burst at a Super Fire Raccoon and it went down. He slammed a fresh clip into the claymore rifle and started firing. He took cover as a Taurogunner fired at his cover. He cursed and slung his rifle. Shackles pulled out a Blue Screamer and went for a close range attack.

It brought him back to his Mapling years but he didnt have time for nostalgia. He sliced a Taurogunner in half and then kicked the top part of the dead creature at a Red Golem. He then started hitting its weak point- the mid section. It started to slow down until it broke to pieces.
“We need back up!” Shackles shouted through the COM. There was a pause.
“Negatice Major! We’re pulled back into a tight situation!” a Captain replied.

Again, he cursed. He killed a few more Taurogunners and ran toward the other soldiers.

Cipher shot the remaining bullets in his assault rifle into the last Taurospear and slapped a fresh clip into place.

“Good work,” the First Sergeant said, slamming a fresh clip into his rail gun. Sleyin pumped shells into shotgun and bandaged a wound on his bicep. Santiago loaded her assault rifle with a fresh ammo clip as well. Jenkins just looked around the room.

Cipher thought back to the recent events. Landing in El Nath, finding Jenkins, killing Omega 3, and now this. Who or what wanted to do this? He readied his MA5C. He was about to find out.

To be continued.

Hey guess what? Im going on a field trip to San Fransico tomarrow to watch a Chinese Boat festival. Its oging to be a blast! Well thank you for reading.

Hey I dont even know what a rail gun is. Wait does it fire a beam?

  2. If you don’t know what something is, either research on it first before you post, or not use it at all.

  3. Mmm. A railgun, basically, is a firearm with two rods of metal and some mechanisms between that I don’t know much about. It sorta charges a huge amount of energy between the two rods, and fires it at an unfortunate target. Look on the Wikipedia article, I don’t think my description helped much :
