Nothing much to say here….

On with the story then.

Chapter 6.

Waking with a start, Fenrir was sweating profusely. Just a dream, just a dream. No worries, boy., he thought to himself. Fenrir stood up, his muscles strained, and went to the small kitchen in his house to get a glass of water. As he was pouring water into a mug, his eyes caught an orange glow from his window. He went to it and wiped the window with his hands. The scene in front of it froze his nerves.

The whole of Henesys was virtually razed to the ground, except for some parts of it. “Good mother of Balrog?!”, Fenrir blurted out in disbelief. I actually survived this darn raid?!, he thought to himself. “Shut up!”, a hushed shout came from behind. “Who the hell is this?”, Fenrir retorted, clenching his fists. “Oh sorry, my armour is kinda’ dark.”, came a girlish voice. “Oh, and if I were you I’d suit up for battle.” Fenrir looked down and saw that he was undressed, he was only in his shorts. “I am the one who warned this town of the attack yesterday. I am…”, a woman of sleek form stepped out of the darkness, revealing herself to be an archer. “…Evanna Pierce.”, the woman said.

Fenrir lit a candle and placed it on a lantern, using it as a light source to find his armour. Evanna hastily blew the candle out. “We don’t want any monsters that are still here to-”, she was cut off by a werewolf blasting open the door. “Damn it!!”, Fenrir yelled as he swung his sword underhand, trying to fend off the werewolf’s attacks. “Duck!”, Evanna yelled as she strung her bow. Fenrir did as he was told, just as she loosed two sharp arrows at the cursed beast.

HOOOOWWWWWLLLLL!!!, the werewolf screamed in terror as each arrow pierced each of his eyes, making him go blind. “My turn”, Fenrir replied as he swung his sword over his head, screaming the words which made his sword glow red. “POWER STRIKE!”, Fenrir shouted. Stabbing his sword through the werewolf. The beast choked, spilling blood all over the floor and it collapsed with a thump.

The two protagonists stepped out of the door, with Fenrir taking in the full situation he was in.

Henesys was no more
